Umm, for the longest times in ancient civilizations all groups of people thought of themselves as different "races" or nations, african/egyptians/(black or lightsh black) did enslave europeans if they had to. Actually the argument has been made that the "blacks" are not as developed as whites or asians. Natural selection has played a role in the evolution of all species for different reasons depending on the ecological niche. The Asians are considerded the "smartest" and by that they usally refer to IQ points. I question the genetic component to all of the differences. The brain molds itself to experiences, so if you grow up in a world of books you'll learn to think, or in a forset you'll learn to hunt and gather. genetics might give you a 1-2% head start, but as far as success, I don't think that's enough to really make a difference.
