Umm, for the longest times in ancient civilizations all groups of people thought of themselves as different "races" or nations, african/egyptians/(black or lightsh black) did enslave europeans if they had to. Nations enslaved other nations and there didnt seem to be the idea that one continent and hue of skin is smarter than the other, but rather as just being naturally self centered and thinking of everyone else as inferior. So.... global events go back and forth. The invention of gunpowder gave the europeans who were always fighting amongst each other (hence more military traditions and experience) to decide and try and take over everything they could since they hated their shithole cold and foggy swamplands. Did you ever learn about the medieval ages in Europe? I wouldnt say that Whitey was smarter in those times, id say the Muslims that saved the ancient knowledge and kept it going were more advanced at the time.
