    The idea that workers controlled the means of production in Nazi Germany is a bitter joke. It was actually a combination of aristocracy and capitalism.

    Technically, private businessmen owned and controlled the means of production. The Nazi “Charter of Labor” gave employers complete power over their workers. National socialism is in the same sense a socialist ideology as are libertarian socialism, democratic socialism, market socialism etc.
Proudhon, for instance, was like "I think Marx is a cool guy, eh studied philosophy and doesn't afraid of anything ... but I will still develop my own brand of socialism."
Nazis were fans of the planned economy idea but compensated for that by hating everything else about Marx.
