He did not conquer by force.  He was voted into office because the Nazis promised government-provided benefits, and the people fell for it.

Libfag doesn't realise that the Nazis' were 'National Socialists' They were very economically socialist, and they were also quite social on society but with conservative strands in there as well. And what OP said is true, go and look at the propaganda posters from before the war, they're all about wages and benefits of the Nazi party.
