Would you vote for Hitler?

He did not conquer by force.  He was voted into office because the Nazis promised government-provided benefits, and the people fell for it.

Let's set aside the zomg socialism bullshit for just a moment.  The fact is, Hitler was a fantastic orator and got into power by promising Germany all kinds of wonderful things.  And today we have a man running for office who is also a pretty darn good orator and he's promising a lot of wonderful government handouts and a future made of milk and honey too.
