If PHP and JS are bad, how am I supposed to be a good programmer?
Perl is even worse. What decent alternative can you present for scripting your websites?

You don't know Perl
Try Perl::Dancer, it's amazing.

first you need to go to the doctor; obviously you're so retarded, medical science would benefit immensely from an examination of your mental state
you are correct about php: it is shit. however, saying the same about js is completely inane and shows your complete lack of respect to the most powerful and well-designed language in existence. why do you think it is powering the future of computing (browsers)? it didn't get there by being a piece of shit like python, perl, ruby, lua, haskell, or c++.
face it, you are not cut out for cs and should just kill yourself now.

If you want to be a good programmer it's symple, just use Symta. >>11 it didn't get there by being a piece of shit like python, perl, ruby, lua, haskell, or c++.
It got there by being a sufficiently bug ridden ad-hoc half formally specified implementation of half of Scheme (complete with pig disgusting K&R style syntax), available today in the new Netscape Navigator web browser!
I used to get paid for programming in PHP, Java, C#... but then I discovered /prog/, read SICP and never worked again.

Instead of html, write your web documents using s-expressions, then convert them to html. If you must have 'client-side scrpiting', use scheme. Any 'server-side scripting' can simply be built into a web server that is written in C. Simple as fuck, but not SCALABLE, ZAZZY, or EDGY enough for the corporate critters.

Go Snap Frameworktm. Its turn key features are: reliable, easy, type safe, modular, performant, scalable and fun! It is ENTERPRISE READY for synergistic deployment with your business logic within interfaces to your privileged clients in your organisation.

Oh, for fuck's sake. That's just a shitty quote made by the creator of a shitty language which is trotted out by the fanboys of even shittier languages. Stop it. PHP has no redeeming qualities beyond taking 15 minutes rather than 30 minutes to deploy for the first time.

I took it as nobody complains about the languages that nobody uses, not because they're good, but because nobody uses them (and therefore there's nobody to complain about them).
TLDR; all language a shit. except BBcode and Scheme ;)
