If the child is consenting then I think it should be ok. The problem is when can they be considered old enough to "consent". Invariably the sleaze bags who make it would coerce some into it. This is the same problem with NAMBLA. So, I think it is better just to outlaw it all together, and maybe lower the age of consent to 16 (that's what it is where I live anyway).

Maybe, but have you considered that then when customer isn't breaking any laws, but seller/maker is it removes the typical trust that such transactions have. Anyone can buy CP and then bust the producer just for kicks. Then it would open possibility of pedos working together with police to bust producers for rewards and such. I have radical solution. Make CP possession legal, but make production and commercial distribution into offenses worth of death penalty.
