Whoever heard of something so ridiculous? Why would any "caring" and "loving" parent leave something lethal for them to eat, even WITH a warning? As a "test"? Okay, let's say they're adults in their ability to reason in comparison to God. Why choose to test them? In order to prove something? Eventually someone would have tried that figurative apple. Then once they do, who pays for it? That person/group only, right? Wrong, Adam and Eve ate it and their children paid.
Does this make sense? "Eat this apple and everyone who you give birth to will be defective and suffer and die." What's the meaning behind something so cruel?
If you say it's not cruel and we could just as easily eat poison nowadays and suffer the consequences, then who PUT this poison there in the first place?
TL;DR version No matter how you look at it, God punished his creations and all their children. No matter what on earth a person does to you you don't make their children suffer so much for it. I've just never felt any logical reason to believe in a god. Hell, it's really kind of irrational to believe. To believe in god is a stop-gap measure to explain anything that you don't understand. I tell my friends that believe in god that "Hey, it's cool.. everyone has their own beliefs" but in reality I respect them less for it.
I'm not trying to be cocky, but "god" is a construct of man derived from the fact that we as humans have huge freaking brains and therefore the abillity to ponder our own being. Before there was science that could explain this, people needed something to answer that ponderance.

I've read the Bible, well as much as i could stand anyway, and it is so full of inconsistencysit makes my head hurt.
Some things I noticed about your so called religion:
#1 Think back to 1st grade english and then look at the word "Bible", if I remember right a vowel is only Long if another vowel follows it or is atleast 1 consonant to the right. If that's true then the word "Bible" is pronounced
"Bib-le" and not "Buy-ble". you don't even know how to pronounce your own rulebook.
#2 Adam&Eve, oh my ... the story is just horrible and most of it goes against what you christians preach about in the first place. first Adam and Eve are naked in a jungle paradise with all of the animals, sounds like the makings of a beastiality film to me. And people have fought over their religion for countless centurys, something that has caused that much innocent bloodshed can't possible be any good. Now, because of the sabotage, there's a huge backup in the crystal powerline (think the mother of all toilet clogs) and most of the zilart are killed, and the kuluus are morphed into hideous beings by the explosion.
Seeing the destruction on the land, the goddess altana cried on the Batallia Downs, and from her five tears the races of Vana'diel were born. Seeing this, the god Promathia, being all chainy and angsty and emo and shit got pissed, and used the weaknesses of each race to create their enemies, the beastmen.

I do not suscribe to christianity because it includes way too many things that I find unbelievable.
To me the bible is not different from stories and legends in that it carries wisdom and is an important human heritage but should not be taken at face value.

The interpretation of christianity that I often see borders on superstition. Worried about the afterlife? Believe in god and you will be saved. Life-threatening condition? Pray. That is not acceptable to me.
