Why Don't You Believe In God?

Hi,

I am a Christian, and I was just wondering why the non-believers on this board don't believe. Why don't they?

Do I belive that there is a god? not really, such a thing just sounds ridiculous.

I've read the Bible, well as much as i could stand anyway, and it is so full of inconsistencysit makes my head hurt.

Some things I noticed about your so called religion:
#1 Think back to 1st grade english and then look at the word "Bible", if I remember right a vowel is only Long if another vowel follows it or is atleast 1 consonant to the right. If that's true then the word "Bible" is pronounced
"Bib-le" and not "Buy-ble". you don't even know how to pronounce your own rulebook.

#2 Adam&Eve, oh my ... the story is just horrible and most of it goes against what you christians preach about in the first place. first Adam and Eve are naked in a jungle paradise with all of the animals, sounds like the makings of a beastiality film to me. Adam and Eve also only had 2 sons (as far as i know) Kain and Able, ok if we are all decended from these two then someone had to bone their mom and thats incest and wrong. people laugh at this like its a joke yet its the fucking truth.

#3 good old Jesus, he died for my sins...so I can get away with anything really and go to heaven because he died 2000+ years ago? you christians are nuts.

#4 Moses, ok god gets pissed and floods the earth, only moses and his family survive in a giant boat, all other humans are wiped out. For us to be here, again someone had to commit incest.

#5 the biggest reason I don't believe in ANY god or Deity is there is no physical proof of something like that existing, having faith in something or someone like that is like stepping off of a cliff and having faith that you're not going to fall to your death.

In closing there are so many religions and no matter which one you follow you're going to hell, so say all of the other religions. And people have fought over their religion for countless centurys, something that has caused that much innocent bloodshed can't possible be any good. So for me I'll live by man's laws and let every religion fight it out, last one standing is bound to be the correct one.
