No offense intended... But I don't think that RedCream is what you could call an 'intellectual'... for you see... he is mentally ill.
His only real intellectual capacity is that of being able to read indoctrinated rhetoric and relate information he receives to how his own country sucks or some other sort of self-loathing issue he has. This self destructive tendency is just one example of his profound mental illness.

Due to the way RedCream expresses himself would suggest that he hates America. There isn't only disagreement with non-liberal policy but a hatred for other opinions and all Americans including himself. In combination with the fact that every conversation he participates in comes back down to how much America fails, it would be easier to say that he has some deeper hatred.

I did not intend to imply the lack of democratic involvement. I only claimed that the republicans had more to gain. Besides, it seems that they're colluding to a non zero degree anyway, so the democrats probably do have something to gain. One reason for the lack of opposition to stop war funding/ pulling out sooner is attakcks of "unpatriotic". Such attacks cripple one's attempt to gain reelection. In addition, it's not clear at this point that suddenly stopping the war would be safe or desirable.
