RedCream doesn't hate America; he hates America committing suicide. His (and liberal) rhetoric is probably not phrased in the friendliest manner, but their point is correct.

It actually depends on context. In this case, you're right. However, when statistics come out saying "America is less intelligent than Europe" they are referring to the people as a whole.

Even president Eisenhower warned against the military industrial complex (and he was a general too). I guess that wasn't good enough for you.
The "USA's best interest
[s]" in the parentheses are only in the best interst of Republicans, not the country. Moar control over people keeps Republicans in power, while the people lose their voting power. Iran was never a major threat. No military in the world even vaguely approaches the power of America. The most Iran could do is pray that they don't get wiped out like Iraq. They have no reason to attack prior to the Iraqi conquest. Even if they tried fucking with the oil supplies, Saudi Arabia is still a major American ally. Moar economic oppurtunity in the middle east, again benefits the republicans by giving their corporations moar $.
If they're an anti-progressive virus, that's their problem.
America currently leads the world in economics, /sci/, technology, and military by a tremendous margin. No other country can cause its demise. Like every other great empire, America will be the cause of its own downfall. However, it is still growing, and thus will have many decades before whittling away.
