You realize that we live in a republic and yet you treat it as if it is some pure democracy. People don't decide policy because that is the job of the politician. A boob like you must have missed this in your basic education.

Nothing is killing the republic besides controlling voting districts. I'll give you that the United States has turned into an empire; however, it isn't a shallow war machine like you put it. The USA's policies are put into place by Republicrats to do what is in the USA's best interest (IE more control over it's people, less threat from crazy Iran, and more economic opportunity in the middle east and abroad). Because we are not a true democracy, this will always happen regardless of what people want. The war in Iraq won't stop happening for a long time, and it'll just be Iran after that.

There is nothing you can do or anyone else, so stop your bitching. It's not like the USA is attacking a peace loving culture anyways... Most of Islam is an anti-progressive virus anyways.
