I am not asking you to prove me wrong, since God's Word is omnipotent, that would be impossible. I am merely reminding you all of this fact.

I never claimed Noah to be all powerful either, but >>152's claim doesn't make sense without that assumption [or at least God making him very powerful][inspiration does not make the raw materials for an ark appear out of nowhere, and it was never mentioned that God put lots of wood on Noah's front yard].
>>156
Yes, 1/2 are very important qualities for legitimacy, and proving them has been quite difficult. 3 doesn't quite work since God by definition is an entity that defines what is physically possible. Logical possibility is important, so one should exclude paradoxes like "can God create something that he can't lift?". However, as >>158 points out, literacy is probably not the word you're seeking.
in 1. it stated literate to such a level that there would be zero room for misinterpretation, just someone can read and write doesnt mean that they can communicate effectively
if so there wouldnt be so many "interpretations" of segments of the bible, if people disagree on the meaning of the contents it obviously means that not everyone has gotten the same message THEREFORE there was room for misinterpretation.
eg thout shall not kill 1. catholics think that includes sperm
2. protestants dont agree (hence condom use) BOTH are christian faiths which follow the bible
and arguing that "oh prodestants are wrong and catholics are right" and vice versa would be a very stupid argument to make

umm this is a serious question but if i turn away from fapping to shotas and traps, will i still be eligible for entry into heaven?
p.s. i haven't gone to church since i was roughly 14. i'm 18 now.
No. It is not possible. You said you "fap to shota" in your first post, and in the second you said you like women. If you are a man, you are a homosexual, if you are a woman, you are a lesbian (homosexual). According to the Bible, those sins may not be repented for and must be punished with death accordingly(Lev.20:13). I'm afraid you are going to Hell.

Why would god tell him to build it out of something as flimsy as wood? Why not teach him how to smelt steel and build it out of a more sterile material?
Can YOU build a wooden Ark that fits two of every species of animal on this world? The Ark was not flimsy, by the way, and survived the deulge.

No, I couldn't build a wooden ark that fits two of every species of animal on Earth.
One: It's an absurd concept, we couldn't even build such a vessle using today's ship building techniques. The animals would die of disease, starvation and stress.
Two: There are too many species. We have catalogued millions of species, and are adding to that large number every day. How did Noah get species from other parts of the world such as a poison dart frog from South America?
What did Noah do with Whales and sharks? It says two of every animal were on the ark, well, Whales and sharks are animals too. Hell, did he have a wing for Sponges and coral too?
But then what are we arguing about? The Ark didn't even exist, where's the archeological evidence of such a craft that could carry billions of animals?

Some fools are discussing on whether the Bible well You and everything in it actually exists. For being Almighty you sure are out of the loop. NO OFFENSE DON'T SMITE ME
>>172
The Ark was not firm or flimsy. Why? Because it didn't fucking exist. There was no deluge. There is nowhere near enough water on the Earth to cover all the land. It's just another stupid fucking myth out of a stupid fucking book filled with 99.99% bullshit that millions of stupid fuckers think is TRUE. Anyone with a halfwit's education could conclude there's not enough water, which probably means that millions of people don't even get an education to the level of a fucking HALFWIT!

it is hypocritical for god to punish us for not beliving when he provides no proof of his existance . I am a deist meaning i belive there is an entity out there that doesn't give a fuck. i don't belive the phisical universe exist however, I belive we are just programs and subroutines programed somehow to act randome(free will) and to write our own program to some extenct in a virtual space we call universe. If I'm right god has a powerfull procesor and the only thing real is consciouseness.
If i'm wrong and I go to hell , i'll spit in god's face for this

179 here. I wanted to add that the bible if it is true is most certanly a metaphor. We can(with dificulty) belive what it says only if we accept this. For example the genesis: god could not tell the retards back in those centuryes about the big bang, the making of quarcs, atoms, electrons, protons etc , he could tell them however that the universe was made in 7 days, meaning billions of years, ending with the making of man. Also he could make those rules to acieve his purpose(wich i belive could be to make someone he could talk to. He does says at some point that the man will become like god). So, he makes rules that will facilitate that. Example: Don't kill. you need egs to make omlet. if you kill the egs... no omlet. Don't fuck outside mariage... to prevent the spreding of STD's. Don't fap... to increase the ods that sex will produce a pregnancy. Same goes with abnormal sex (sex with children, homosexuals, sex with animals. Don't kill niggars... I don't know why however, it makes no sense

The writers of the bible couldn't fathom billions of years, so they said it took place in 7 Earth days. Why can man control god through prayer?
The Revolutionary War is a metaphor for the underdog fighting the good fight.
American guerillas beating the entire British Army? I'll beleive it when I see it.

I just have to say this, those that are arguing here will never come to an agreement. This is how things work, both groups truly believe in something that rules out the other persons idea, through doing this they create an argument which will never come to an end since it only reinforces peoples opinions. Pleas people, religion and science can coexist you just need to make it happen.
>>183
Covered in water? FRESH OR SALTY?!?! No matter how you answer, entire species die.
The entire Ark thing is filled with so much fail that there couldn't possibly be room even for Noah.

Religion and rational thinking can't co-exist when the religitards insist on social policies that reflect their beliefs in a giant alien space monster. If the religitards grow up and confine their stupid delusions to their own lives and homes, then there just wouldn't be a problem.

You've once again assumed (inaccurately) that God is NOT all powerful, and in addition to that have stated that rape and murder ought to be legal. Well done, RedFag. Way to show your true colors.

Wow, you're actually right. There isn't enough WATER, but there is more than enough H2O when you factor in the planet's ice-caps. What did you think global warming fanatics were so freaked out about?
All water is H2O. Not all H2O is necessarily water.
Seriously, we ought to start keeping a list of times RedFag has been wrong.

For such an "all powerful" thing, it sure as fuck is fairly frightened of being captured on tape or otherwise detected by instruments. Hmm! Another flaw in the numerous set of flaws around the idea of a giant alien space monster!
As always, produce the proof of the existence of this being, or it doesn't exist.

>>190 FAIL. Once melted, all the world's ice might lift ocean levels 600 feet or so. The elevations of even low mountain chains are at thousands of feet.
What stupid and easily-disproven assertion are you going to make next? Atmospheric water? You must have received your so-called education in America; it really shows.
>>194 Post the link to the calculation about ice-to-ocean-level or STFU, chanfag. It's a well known factor that the melting of Antarctica would produce most of such a rise. Hence my assertion is reasonable.
If you're going to counter such a reasonable assertion then you must provide evidence to the contrary. In short: GOOGLE, MOTHERFUCKER, DO YOU SPEAK IT? Or do you think the debate is going to be resolved by some silly form of dick wagging as you seem only capable of doing?

Here is your proof:
"
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?
Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able, and willing?
Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God?
" -Epicurus
The Judeo-Christian God is a fairy tale, no more, no less.
>>195 Why should he have to disprove it? I didn't see you proving it anywhere so you are as bad as he is. Also 600ft is obviously unreasonable, think about it - the artic poles would have to be far over 600 feet tall ( a mile high? ) of solid ice to cause a average sea level rise of 600ft.
