if so there wouldnt be so many "interpretations" of segments of the bible, if people disagree on the meaning of the contents it obviously means that not everyone has gotten the same message THEREFORE there was room for misinterpretation.

eg thout shall not kill 1. catholics think that includes sperm
2. protestants dont agree (hence condom use) BOTH are christian faiths which follow the bible

and arguing that "oh prodestants are wrong and catholics are right" and vice versa would be a very stupid argument to make
