An inherant element of prediction and knowledge is the noticing of properties of objects and the patterns that occur between them. Science is essentially the documentation, study and analysis of these patterns.

>>9
As I am human I did not guarantee that I would not make any mistakes. It is highly likely that all questions asked will be answerred and provide insights into the subject and many of these will be correct and useful. This is safe to assume.
>>10
This is an ambiguous statement. I would classify such anthropologists into 4 groups all of which believe the environment is an important factor and that differences in appearance caused by genes (black skin, white skin etc..) have had an effect on culture throughout history as a default.
Anthropologists who believe genetic difference between human demographic groups...
1: Affect performance strongly and thus affect the development of civilisation strongly.
2; Affect people medically in a significant manner due to population's resistance to local disease and traits evolved during the stone age, but the differences have little effect on performance.
3; Exist, but only affect people in minor medical instances such as a higher prevalence of allergies and that races are all equal in terms of performance, particularly intelligence.
4; Do not exist.
The mainstream view appears to be 2. Some theories leaning towards views 1 or 3 within their scope are considerred seriously with view 3 theories tending to be more popular than view 1 theories. Some fringe anthropologists hold a more universal approach to views 1 and 3, which in their totality are generally unnaccepted by the mainstream. View 4 is generally considerred absurd, but exists amongst anthropolgists who are more politically motivated than historically motivated.
IQ tests may be useful sources, but alone do not give any clear indication of the effects of genes on a demographic.
>11 is correct.

Dehumanising people for dehumanising is hypocritical. The answer is not to dehumanise them, but to use it as evidence to prove that they are ignorant and cannot be trusted with positions where ignorance is a vice.

After consulting urbandictionary.com and finding that "asplode" translates to "explode" I would safely assume that your head will never explode.
However it is still physically possible for your head to explode, shockwaves from explosions, bullets or a sudden boiling of a sufficient amount of fluid in your head may cause your head to rapidly expand in a manner that could be described as an explosion.

Still not the OP. Hardware that does that inverts the wave 180º and plays that over the original, cancelling them. 'Antinoise' is not fundamentally different from 'noise'.

I think so. I explained what the thing he dubbed 'antinoise' actually is and why it's not a particularly difficult question to answer on his own in light of that.

because theoretically bouncing off a perpendicular wall is like making the same sound from the opposite direction
thats not how noise cancelling works though, you have to line up crests and troughs of the wave, noise cancelling headphones technically send extra sound toward your ear, it just lines up with the sound outside in a way that cancels both.

But while you're here, tell me about what happens to an area of space/time contained within a polygonal black hole field, with thin walls and shit, does the space inside fall out of sync with space/time around it, does it fall out of the universe forever?
If you cross two vectors, you get a new vector orthogonal to the plane created by the first two. My question is:
A) Can vectors exist in the temporal dimension.
B) Is it possible to perform some kind of multiplication or addition of vectors that includes both the spatial and temporal dimensions?
Thanks,

If you are already familiar with the lorentz law I would structure the essay around the equation and the timeline leading to the acceptance of the lorentz law. Starting with a brief on the lorentz law, leading from previous knowledge of electric and magnetic fields to how it was derived by Lorentz from his experiments and how it explained the generation of electromagnetic radiation.

"Anti-noise" is essentially destructive interference and this occurs frequently in nature. Though as sound usually expands spherically, it usually cannot be distinguished with the human ear from noise which echos indirectly. Some animals may utilise destructive interference as part of their vocal communication in order to create an easily recognised unusual set of sounds.

An asshole is the area between the sphincter of the anus and in fact does consist of material. The amount of matter in the asshole can range from a few milligrams of bodily fliuds to several grams of fecal matter or some other object. A black hole is structurally very different, it is a singularity bounded in our space-time by an event horizon. Black holes can theoretically contain any amount of mass and black holes containing the mass of elementary particles have been created in particle accelerators. These black holes were very unstable and did not exist for more than a few quantum seconds. Stable black holes contain substantially more mass than that which could be considerred part of the asshole.
>>29
There is no such thing as a black hole field and black holes are singularities, points in space, not polygons. If by field you are referring to the "volume" within the event horizon, then the answer is uncertain. Stephen Hawking postulated that matter and energy which enters the event horizon does eventually escape in the form of Hawking radiation and as a result of this slow loss of energy in 10^50 years the black hole will become unstable and collapse releasing the remaining energy. You may also be interested in black hole thermodynamics.
>>31
If you are using minkowski space in the scale in which special relativity applies, yes for both. From another vector with another direction it would be observed as a moving point in space and slowly changing relative velocity. Google "light cone".
>>32
If superman can travel so fast he can go back in time he must be able to generate more than infinite kinetic energy and would have the energy needed to exit the event horizon. Whether this means he could make contact with the singularity or exist in the event horizon is unknown.
>>34
My best estimate would be between 0.5 seconds and 5 minutes as this is the usual time it takes to purchase a hot dog to a reasonable extreme. If this is a trick question it could be anywhere between a quantum second and 150 years.

Explain this.
when you eat food, you make poop...
Poop is used as fertilizer.
fertilizer helps plants grow
and produce Food.
Because, plants use it as fertilizer, but they also use H20, sunlight and C02 to make organic material and oxygen. Sugars aren't found in poop, but poop helps plants make sugars.
Name:

human beings use H2O and sunlight and O2,
but all we do is produce poop,
by your theory......
if we start using CO2 we can make sugar as well.
We wont need plants anymore...
Humans don't use sunlight, except to produce vitamin D. Now, if we had chlorophyll all over us and could sprout leaves, that'd be pretty cool. Also, we don't use CO2, you twit, we make it.
Come to think of it, being able to manufacture chlorophyll cheaply would be a great thing.

Plants convert CO2 and H2O into carbohydrates via a process called photosynthesis. Humans are incapable of this process or any other process to convert CO2 and H2O into carbohydrates.
>>50
The binding energy needed is negative therefore such a molecule is unlikely to exist in normal conditions. It is negative because in order for a quarduple bond to form the electron cloud requires energy to be "redirected" to where a quadruple bond can form. The strong nuclear force does not provide enough energy to permit this to form in normal conditions.

There are 2 ways to make new discoveries. Luck and science. Luck is luck because luck is unlikely, if civilisation sat around all day hoping electricity and cathode ray tubes to invent themselves by chance we would be here for billions of years. Science shortens this by permitting people to direct efforts to discover new ways of doing things and in some cases make new discoveries more likely to happen through luck by creating the conditions for things to be more likely to occur by chance.

Science as a method of accertaining the truth is not fearsome, however satan procures a lot more fear. Conceivably though if tyrants and criminals use science as a means to find ways of oppressing you then science can be fearsome. The actual emotional fear experienced is dependant mainly on your subjective opinion of science and satan at a particular point in time aswell as whether you believe satan exists or how valid you believe science is. Generally satan is more fearsome as an idea, but you have more to be afraid of from humans using science maliciously since contemporary beliefs state that either satan does not exist or god is more powerful.
>>66
This is difficult since genetic modification requires considerably amounts of investment and educated scientists who are most likely to have lived shelterred lives and would suffer from serious emotional problems during the course of their work as it would require the growth and testing of genetically modified humans up to adulthood who may suffer considerably due to the fact that we are still in the early stages of genetic modification and only a small percentage of modified embryos do not have any significant deformities.

Sexual arousal results in the penis filling with blood until it is expanded and stiff like a balloon, this is called an erection. This is normal and should last a few minutes if you cease actions which cause sexual arousal. If it lasts more than 4 hours you should consult a physician. Attempting to flex or stretch your penis whilst it is erect can cause damage to vital blood vessels which may lead to impotence whereby you can no longer get an erection. If this happens you will also have to consult a physician.
>>69
I do not know. There may not even be an equation for everything. Ambiguously the equation for everything could simply be the concept of counting, since all mathematics is the study of the relationships between numbers.

Stem cells are gained through the tragic loss of a human fetus. A fetus younger than 6 months is not sentient, however it does directly have the capability to become sentient. There are many concerns in which this could cause ethically questionable situations revolving around the production and sale of fetuses which I believe must be addressed. However the potential for curing many diseases that stem cell research could yield lead me to the conclusion that the use of the fetus for medical research should be the decision of the mother and that no monetary transaction should take place. Though this still leaves avenues for corruption.
In single unarmed combat against Bill Nye I would win hands down. In real life most likely Bill Nye would use his greater wealth to have me killed with greater ease than I could get at him, though there is still a good chance I would win. In a battle of wits it depends on how abstract the game is. In a game of chess Bill would most likely win, however in a game of wits in a real life situation I would use my innovative skills and decipherring analytical thinking to gain a crushing advantage.

The douche is a device intended to deposit water at around 30 cms into an orifice. The water flows out of the orifice depositing any chemicals added to the water and rinsing the wall of the orifice of dirt, bodily fluids and microbes. Though it does not remove all material from the orifice walls it usually does remove sufficient amount for the body to recover in normal conditions. If a douche is not sufficient medical attention is probably required. The douche mechanism itself is a stretchy balloon shaped bottle so pressure can be applied to squeeze water out the end attached to a thin hose which can enter the orifice.
>>73
If you did the poop in the woods, then it means you are also present in the woods. From what has been hitherto seen there is nothing to suggest that what cannot be experienced does not occur as things which you cannot directly sense can still have effects on what you can experience. This implies they still exist, even if you are not aware of them in manners you find familiar.

Here's a question. Are you that much of an emo faggot that you have to post as Mr. Science like you're the mascot of the scientific community just to boost your ego? Go back to /b/ and stay there, you stupid fuck.
Oh yeah, in b4 NO U because I have /b/ on another tag in my internet browser.
It depends on where the divison by zero is taking place. If electrons reach speeds around the speed of light in the collapsing core of a dying star, the equation for determining mass at high speeds becomes a division by zero, which causes the core to gain infinate density, thereby creating a black hole. If on Earth and with simple arithmatic, nothing happens. Basically, the problem 1/0 is an invalid command in mathematics. It is telling you to take an object that exists (represented by 1) and divide it into 0 pieces (basically telling to stop existing). Since this violates the conservation of energy (stating that the total amount of energy in the universe cannot change), and since all mass contains an immense amount of energy, this is in theory impossible. These are only two possible occurances, but there are so many others that I cannot list them all in this single post.

The exact processes are unknown and research is ongoing in this branch of biology called embryogenesis. As a result I cannot give you an answer or be botherred to explain to you everything that has been discoverred so far, I will however give you a minimum of an abstract explanation of the general processes involved.
After fertilization the large female egg will begin to split into smaller cells each with the new zygote DNA, becomming a blastula, a cluster of cells. The female egg cell is not symmetrical with 2 regions called the animal pole and the vegetal pole, as the egg splits the new cells migrate in relation to these poles to several areas called germ layers which will grow into the various parts of the embryo. This growth is called gastrulation. After the germ layers have developped the blastula undergoes organogenesis in which the various structures of the embryo are developped. By this time the embryo is attached to the mother by a placenta and will grow into a baby.

There is not much related to science in your question other than psychology and aesthetics. I chose the name Mr. Science arbitrarily and the decision was not affected by psychological faults, psychology however is not restricted to the observation of mental disease so we may briefly observe the mental process involved in the decision. I chose the name Mr. Science as it brings into account an element of the culture of science which suggests that I am a person with a strong interest, in science. Aesthetically I believe it is a success, however there is always the risk that some people will not like the decision. Such people may feel that my intentions were not to show that I have a strong interest in science but to claim that I am superior in some way. Claims of superiority are often seen as a declaration that others are inferior and thus a threat. If you feel strong emotions as a result of my usage of the name "Mr. Science" then you may be sufferring from psychological problems, if not then I believe that your aggressive attitude is the result of your desire to troll me which is not indicative of any problems.

There is a property of 0 which causes problems which is it's removal of information during multiplication and division. For instance...
0*1=0*2
1≠2
You cannot multiply or divide a number by 0 and retain information. The proper calculation for the multiplication can only be as follows...
0*1=0*2
0=0
Mathematicians say 0 is a real number, but it removes information like infinity so for whatever reason it is called a real number, it is "also" a theoretical number. Taking this into account all the evidence points towards n/0=infinity if n < 0 and n/0=-infinity if 0 < n. As Cybernetix pointed out particles reach speeds near the speed of light when a star with a neutron core large enough to become a black hole goes supernova. More specifically neutrons fuse creating a point in space with infinite density called a singularity. The meme of saying "OH SHI-" whenever someone divides by zero is derived from the Stephen Wright quote "Black holes are where God divided by zero." and the popular cliche in American action movies in which swearing is not allowed where a person who has spotted the precursor to an explosion shouts "OH SHI-" and the offensive word is cut off by the sound of an explosion. In the case of the meme the explosion is supposed to be the explosion generated by the formation of the black hole as the person spots someone dividing by zero thus generating the infinite figure. If computers did not have safeguards against the results of dividing by zero an effect within the computer similiar to the formation of a singularity can be seen with the computer attempting to calculate something which would require an eternity to complete which can be compared to the time dilation which is enough to prevent light escaping within the event horizon of a black hole.

From the equation we can see that you need twice as many moles of NaOH to react with 1 mole of N2O4.
0.00465*2 = 0.0093
We need 0.0093 moles of NaOH. There are 0.3 moles per decimetre squared in the solution...
0.3mol/dm^3 = 0.0093/X dm^3
0.0093/0.3 = X = 0.031
Which means the amount of NaOH in 0.31 dm^3 of the solution is sufficient and 0.31 dm^3 is the minimum volume of the solution required to react with 0.00465 moles of N2O4.

How do you know so much about science and what's your IQ?
>>106
I of course use the internet. I have been a science nerd since I was 7 or 8, my first interest was in dinosaurs which led to natural history, which led to geology and evolution and other interests. My mother was a staunch Catholic, but not a fundamentalist, she acknowledged genesis wasn't 100% true, but believed the author was inspired by god and Gensis was merely a way of explaining to the people of the time how the world was created. My father was a computer consultant and a phd in theoretical physics who would often use long descriptive language to entertain me because I thought it was funny. These influences must have helped my early obsession with science. When I was 10 I took an IQ test to gain free admission to a private school and scored 111, but I decided to go to a public school because my friends were going there. I haven't taken an official Iq test since, but a dubious internet IQ test said my IQ was 140. I don't consider myself a genius or an intellectual, just someone of a bit above average intelligence who uses his brain correctly rather than someone with some natural talent. I'm decent software more than decent hardware. I have A-levels in maths, physics, chemistry and english langauge and literature.

The details of my life are quite inconsequential... very well, where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. My childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds- pretty standard really. At the age of twelve I received my first scribe. At the age of fourteen a Zoroastrian named Vilma ritualistically shaved my testicles. There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum... it's breathtaking- I highly suggest you try it.
mr. science, what is the most interesting scientific peice of info you have heard of? and what cant science understand? what is science in a whole, trying to do right now?

Thinking about this there is so much info that is fundamental to science and/or that the world as we know it depends on that it is hard to make a choice. It is hard to make a choice, but I would have to go for the complexity of cellular chemistry. Biology is the only science that has left me breathless with revelation on learning something new about the world and the complexity of even a single celled organism embodies this completely. The process of converting DNA into the proteins and peptides that work in a cell is one such extremely complex process. RNA polymerase is a protein that circles a strand of DNA and produces RNA which is a copy of a piece of DNA used to produce a protein. RNA polymerase itself is extremely complex and can perform over 50 functions depending on different stimuli. All this in one macromolecule.
Science can't understand whatever it is trying to explain.
Science is trying to explain what it can't understand. Though since there is an enormous amount of things in this world that are unexplained or unexplored it really depends on how important people determine it is.

The mouth contains a large amount of bacteria and kissing your penis will most likely not end whatever is causing it discomfort. Your description of the symptoms is not sufficient to make an accurate diagnosis. If symptoms are unusual and persist for more than a day it is advised that you see a doctor.

Not exactly a science question, but do you know where i can find over the web Carl Faith's article "A correspondence theorem for projective modules and the structures of simple Noetherian rings", was published in symposia Mathematica vol VIII and Vol X, by academic press. Im very interested in reading it and currently unable to find a copy

to some extent, soil and shit are alike. Soil and shit both contain broken down material and bacteria. The difference is that soil has more abiotic factors, such as clay and silt.
