Because, plants use it as fertilizer, but they also use H20, sunlight and C02 to make organic material and oxygen. Sugars aren't found in poop, but poop helps plants make sugars.

Humans don't use sunlight, except to produce vitamin D. Now, if we had chlorophyll all over us and could sprout leaves, that'd be pretty cool. Also, we don't use CO2, you twit, we make it.
