/prog/ lacks additional character to make a good anime or mango, for The Sussman, SICPgirl and her pet /prog/snake are not enough. We need a charming protagonist, the bad guys and some action scenes. Discuss

Is the /prog/-snake the comic relief?
Name:

Yeah, along with SICPgirl being the fanservice character.
Let's see... /prog/ is about rehashing stuff that was really popular a long time ago, blatant trolling and overanalyzing pseudo-intellectual bullshit that isn't meant to take seriously to begin with, yet everyone pretends it has some deep meaning and end up almost creating a religion around it?
Someone get me Hideaki Anno on the phone. I can see it now: “The End of /prog/.”

This was a post good post. Were I to rate it from 1 to 10, it would be quite high, perhaps a 7 or 8.

Perhaps you could write a user script which allows you to rate posts. It isn't necessary that anyone else sees the rating, in fact, it should be confidential — and what better way to achieve that by discarding the rating as soon as it is received?

Most of the land of the Sussman is oppressed by the Guido's. Old allies have defected; the TURKEY MANAGER and the AntiCudder now work for the Dark Side.
After secretly reading SICP, a young girl named Usa Mimi reaches Satori. At that moment she knows that the country must be freed. Following her escape to the last stronghold of EXPERT PROGRAMMERs, she meets the Sussman, who gives her a powerful weapon (the /prog/snake). With this, she inspires the remaining Wizards and the Nomads with their dog.
Great battles ensue. Usa manages to defeat Steele. In an epic duel, Sussman defeats Abelson. He shows no mercy, for it is not the Abelson he once knew.
At van Rossum's industrialized headquarter, Python 3000, Usa and the Sussman manage to sneak inside to the throne room while the others provide a diversion.
GvR attacks the Sussman with his sword powered by the souls of his slaves, too powerful to fully defend against. The Sussman quickly retaliates with his Y shaped sword, sending Guido into an infinite loop of stabbing. But it is too late: he is mortally wounded.
"Usa, you must apply the ancient continuation. Only then can this evil be undone." are his last words. Usa fulfils her master's wish, but not before she dived deep into the fabric of time and space and slightly changed its state, something the Nomads could never do.
--
All is right in the land of the Sussman. The only thing breaking the harmony is Mrs van Rossum's distant crying over her stillborn baby.

It must have a scene where someone is riding a bus and all of a sudden the huge black snake head with retarded-looking eyes pops through an open window and screams loudly "HAVE YOU READ YOUR SICP TODAY?"

Alright, /prog/tists, let's get to work.
We need few sketches of /prog/snake, The Sussman and SICPgirl.
The story will start in the dark land ruled by GvR, where /prog/snakes and copies of SICP are prohibited.

I like Konata because she is a otaku like me, except she has friends. Oh god I wish I had friends too ;_;
Konata also likes videogames and she is kawaii. And there are lesbians in the show and that's good because I like lesbians and I will never have a girlfriend. Why am I such a loser?!
Konata is like my dreamgirl she has a :3 face I love that. She is also nice why aren't real girls nice!? I got dumped a lot of times but I love konata and she wouldn't dump me because she's so nice and cool.
We would play videogames all day and watch Naruto and other cool animes on TV, and I would have sex with her because sex is so good. I wish I could have sex with a girl.
If you don't like anime, you will like Cowboy Bebop, NGE, and possibly N.H.K.

When it gets down to it--we're talking trade balances here--once we've brain-drained all our technology into other countries, once things have evened out, they're making cars in Bolivia and microwaves in Tadzhikistan and selling them here--once our edge in natural resources has been made irrelevant by giant Hong Kong ships and dirigibles that can ship North Dakota all the way to New Zealand for a nickel--once the Invisible Hand has taken all those historical inequities and smeared them out into a broad global layer of what a Pakistani bricklayer would consider to be prosperity--y'know what? hacker humor
A distinctive style of shared intellectual humor found among hackers, having the following marked characteristics:
1. Fascination with form-vs.-content jokes, paradoxes, and humor having to do with confusion of metalevels (see meta). One way to make a hacker laugh: hold a red index card in front of him/her with “GREEN” written on it, or vice-versa (note, however, that this is funny only the first time).
2. Elaborate deadpan parodies of large intellectual constructs, such as specifications (see write-only memory), standards documents, language descriptions (see INTERCAL), and even entire scientific theories (see quantum bogodynamics, computron).
3. Jokes that involve screwily precise reasoning from bizarre, ludicrous, or just grossly counter-intuitive premises.
4. Fascination with puns and wordplay.
5. A fondness for apparently mindless humor with subversive currents of intelligence in it — for example, old Warner Brothers and Rocky & Bullwinkle cartoons, the Marx brothers, the early B-52s, and Monty Python's Flying Circus. Humor that combines this trait with elements of high camp and slapstick is especially favored.
6. References to the symbol-object antinomies and associated ideas in Zen Buddhism and (less often) Taoism. See has the X nature, Discordianism, zen, ha ha only serious, koan.
See also filk, retrocomputing, and the Portrait of J. Random Hacker in Appendix B. If you have an itchy feeling that all six of these traits are really aspects of one thing that is incredibly difficult to talk about exactly, you are (a) correct and (b) responding like a hacker. These traits are also recognizable (though in a less marked form) throughout science-fiction fandom.

That was EXPERT PROGRAMMER quality!
I am the 1/0 of my GET.

I have created over 999 HUGE programs that you couldn't even comprehend.
Unaware of Python.

Withstood the forced indentation of the code to create many touring-complete programs.
Waiting for an EXPERT PROGRAMMER's arrival.
I have no regrets, this was the only path.

I've been here for two years or maybe more.
All the lisp/haskell fanboyism is fine. We used to get meaningful discussions, debates etc. Occasionally some code too.
I'm tired of seeing the same bullshit that trolls have built now. (ascii bullshit, prog anime, etc etc etc etc...)
I understand just "gtfo" is not good, but I honestly cannot think of anything better. Maybe it will make some of you aware of how shit some posts are. I don't know why you assume I don't make quality posts, I do. The CFG grammar in C was posted by me.
Hey, it wasn't anything very interesting, but it attracted some more code. That's something, isn't it? I plan on posting more of my code here. I also plan on making everyone here of the trolls. Their posts must simply be saged to death.

If this is true, you were here for the transition. Why then have you suddenly declared "/prog/ sucks, I'd better fix it now". It's a bit late don't you think? I'm tired of seeing the same bullshit that trolls have built now
This is very childish thinking. Start contributing your own good content and it will get assimilated. You're like those who whine about GPL software sucking, yet never hack anything to improve it yourself. Mindless criticism without contribution is harmful. I understand just "gtfo" is not good, but I honestly cannot think of anything better.
How about, don't post. Something about silence being deafening. I plan on posting more of my code here.
Proceed. I also plan on making everyone here of the trolls. Their posts must simply be saged to death

btw I wanted to type there "making everyone here aware of the trolls", ie what's troll content and what's not.

I have a morning ritual that I need to share. I call it 'the anime fan'. First I pose in the shower in the classic 'Caramelldansen' pose. With my eyes closed I dance there for a minute, visualizing either Konata-chan or Haruhi-sama and I start to hum the Caramelldansen theme. Then I slowly rise my cock to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me to proceed through my day as an emotionless anime freak. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my saggy weeaboo hips. It ruins the fantasy.
