He's tangled up the argument. So he says Obama is inexperienced, and goes on to pick the governor of a three person state. What is Obama supposed to do here? Say she's inexperienced? Maybe she's corrupt?

TL;DR lol Mccain tries to energize party party by making history like the dems.

Name: Anonymous 2008-08-29 23:49

McCain is just trying to pander to the voters he needs to get the swing states, and the moderates still on the fence, and ex-Hillary supports still butthurt over her losing but won't support Obama

no wait, you were serious.  D:

Even compared to Obama, she's very inexperienced. Obama's experience is greater than hers.

Name: Anonymous 2008-08-30 1:34

Lol.. I think a month in the US Senate is more experience than being mayor of a 65,000 person town and governor of Alaska for a year. But Obama can't use the inexperience thing. What he CAN and SHOULD do is criticize McCain and his camp for talking so much shit about inexperience then taking up a VP candidate who LACKS it even more than he does.

She was a mayor of a town of 8,500 not 65,000.

This. It invalidates months of political attack ads that paint Obama as not ready. Obama does not need to and should not go on the offense with this but rather just use it defensively.

Name: Anonymous 2008-08-30 11:46

Niggerama said that it's not about experience, it's about the judgement of the person who is going to lead...

Name: Anonymous 2008-08-30 16:38

I'd say that completely invalidating your main line of attack (that happened to be working wonderfully) just to make some headlines shows pretty poor judgment.

Name: Anonymous 2008-08-30 16:44

Yeah, and she doesn't have the JUDGEMENT to raise a 16 year old girl that doesnt go preggo on her correctly

OH SHNAP

Yeah yeah, not the proper usage of judgement.

but fuck creationism. That's just retarded.

Name: Anonymous 2008-08-30 20:22

governor of a state with more reindeer than people. yep, she's definitely qualified to be a VP... or maybe a VPILF?

Name: Anonymous 2008-08-31 21:26

>>12
At least she's been chief executive in charge of something.  She's more qualified for the Presidency than Obama, McCain, and Hillary all put together.

Which is pretty fucking sad, when you think about it.

American politics has gotten pretty pathetic.  It used to be entertaining, at least.  Now it's just depressing.  I can't even make fun of American politicians any more.  It makes me feel like I'm heckling Corky the Retard.

Being governor of a state does not make you qualified to do shit. If you want a more qualified Republican governor who is female and has done shit to get results, I will give you M. Jodi Reil of Connecticut.

>>She's more qualified for the Presidency than Obama, McCain, and Hillary all put together.
>>Hillary
Hillary has far more political experience than Palin will ever have. Do you even know what the fuck you are talking about?

Name: Anonymous 2008-09-01 8:33

>>13

Let me ask you this: If Obama had said that he didn't even know what the VP does, while having the same experience as Palin, plus had a Downskid, would you vote for him or brush off this obvious political ploy the same way?

Name: Anonymous 2008-09-01 15:07

>>14
Far more political experience?

lolwut

Hillary was a far-left kook agitator in the 70s, then wife of a governor of a tiny state, then a President's wife.  She got elected to Congress in a far-left kook state where she had never lived, because Slick Willie and the Billary freakshow mob were popular there.  She spent seven years in Congress sponsoring no bills that went anywhere or accomplished anything and doing nothing for her constituents.  I wouldn't hire her to manage a Denny's.

Also, "will ever have?"  You're assuming a McCain/Palin ticket can't win.  Whistle past the graveyard much?

Name: Anonymous 2008-09-01 23:41

Still more than Palin has. Less than 2 years as governor? 6 years as a mayor? Even if you give her the credit of being more of a civil servant and "grassroots" than McCain or Obama (or even Hillary) and the fact she took on "Big Oil" and Ted Stevens era corruption, she is still pretty young in the political oldfag arena that McCain and Biden play in, and will play on in this election. Shit, this election might as well be McCain/Biden versus Obama/Palin, because that seems like a better matchup to me, and I'd vote for Obama/Palin, because I honestly am tired of the same stuffy old men from 50 years ago dictating politics in a country that has advanced past their time.

I don't assume a McCain/Palin ticket won't win, but frankly he continues to stack reasons for why I do not want him to be our next President, and unless that changes in the last two months, I'm still voting Obama, and I honestly think most of this country will minus conservative blowhards, feminists, and southern whites.

Arkansas has more population than Alaska. Face it, Palin is the single most unqualified VP pick in the history of America. No one has ever been less suited for the job. No one knows why McCain picked her and McCain's people won't even answer why.

Doesn't really matter. You can refer to her as Vice President Palin from now on.

Not my fault your boy fucked up and didn't pick Hitlery for Veep. Rumor has it that Biden is going to step down and Hitlery is going to take his place.

Like all Retardicans, you're full of shit, but it's funny that you should mention stepping down. The rumors are starting to swirl that McCain's vetting people finally arrive in Alaska yesterday. They booked 8 rooms at a local hotel in Wasilla and they're asking a lot of questions. They may be asking Palin to step down based on all the things they're finding out about her, such as Trooper Gate, the corruption charges, abuse of power, her involvement with Ted Stevens, the fact that she was a member of a radical Alaskan secessionist group who has been pushing for Alaskan independence from America since the 70s and of course her pregnant daughter. Turns out she wasn't exactly honest with McCain before she was picked. McCain should have spent more than a week vetting her.

It's the goddamn nation, and billions of lives are at risk with his decisions. Jesus Christ. Now I want McCain to lose because he's turning the presidency into a DAYTIME SOAP OPERA.

I HATE THE REPUBLICANS FOR TURNING MY AMERICA INTO A JOKE.

DAMN YOU! STOP IT!!

JUST STOP IT. IT'S NOT FUNNY.

WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?

;_; When will the republicans stop making America look like fools? WHY DO WE HAVE TO SUFFER THIS?

This isn't the race for the damn soap-opera awards! It's the WHITE HOUSE!

STOP MAKING IT LOOK FOOLISH!

I REFUSE TO BELIEVE THAT REPUBLICANS -WANT- TO LOOK LIKE IDIOTS! I REFUSE TO BELIEVE THAT THEY WANT THE WORLD TO DISREGARD US!

ARE RUSSIA AND CHINA SUPPOSED TO TAKE US SERIOUSLY?

The republicans don't exist.

Ignore them.

Shun them.

Turn your backs to them, and don't look back.

Family, friends, parents, whatever.

I'm asking that everyone shun the republicans. There are no republicans.

Name: Anonymous 2008-09-02 16:05

Republicans have always been foolish, but they've always been good at hiding it until recently.

Name: Anonymous 2008-09-04 10:21

McCain tried to win over the "women vote" by picking Sarah Palin. It's not going to win over anything in my opinion.

Name: Anonymous 2008-09-04 11:00

It's actually hurting him. Since the announcement, Obama is up 8 points. McCain picked someone so absurdly far right that he's cut himself off from all moderate and liberal voters. He just lost any hope at obtaining the majority of the vote. He should have listened to himself and went with Lieberman instead of listening to his idiot advisers and going with Palin.

Name: Anonymous 2008-09-04 12:46

LOL wut?

The last Reuters/Zogby poll gives McCain a 5-point lead among likely voters.

Wait a few days until the convention bump happens. McCain will be up.

Name: Anonymous 2008-09-04 18:46

McCain is sinking every day. Palin is so far right and so grossly unqualified that she's driving away voters from the middle. Driving them straight to Obama.

Name: Anonymous 2008-09-04 18:55

Yeah, right.
I don't think anyones going to buy that one, niggerchink.

Name: Anonymous 2008-09-04 19:35

McCain might as well be a liberal, and "the slut factory" might as well be a dope addict.

Name: Anonymous 2008-09-04 20:15

What I don't buy is McCain/Palin being a viable administration. I don't want McCain dying and Palin becoming president. Your party loyality might make you think that everything is cool just as long as it's a white republican, but I'm more objective than that. Palin would make our country a bigger joke than it already is.

Name: Anonymous 2008-09-04 23:08

Palin did an admirable job as governor of Alaska, and quite frankly, you don't want an old warhorse as VP, the old Warhorse should be President, and the VP should be a learning station for someone you want to advance later.

Look at Bush II,  I think he would have been a pretty decent president, if he had had a term or two as Veep first, to learn the ropes.  As it was, he took a couple shots in the dark, and those miscalculations have defined his presidency.

If we had stayed out of Iraq, and focussed the full force of our power on Afghanistan, we would be in pretty good shape, and Bush's presidency would be defined by his (quite frankly good) post Sept. 11 performance.

Not to say that I think that we need to run out of Iraq as fast as our infantry can advance to the rear, but quite frankly, the manor of the removal of Saddam showed Bush's inexperience.

Name: Anonymous 2008-09-04 23:09

Viable compared to what?

FREE KLOO:  American politics is nothing like what they told you in civics class.  The elections are a reality show.  The people you think are your leaders are empty-headed celebrities.

FREE KLOO:  The decisions that affect your life and everyone else's are made on Wall Street and on Madison Avenue.

FREE KLOO:  If voting could change this they'd make it illegal.

Admirable job? She raked in millions in earmarks, 20 times the national average. She left her town millions in debt. Troopergate. Had an affair with her husband's business partner. And all this in 20 months. Imagine what she'll do with the rest of her term after she loses the election for McCain.

Name: Anonymous 2008-09-04 23:41

Ear Marks?  Ear marks are not something a governor does, they are something senators and congressmen do.  She has ZERO control over stuff like that.  She fired a scumbag (lol trooper gate, the investigation is headed by HIS COUSIN, it is just cronyism), and the affair is summed up by "LOL National Enquirer".

And Wassila is not "Millions in debt"

Your post is nothing but lies, damn lies, and half truths.  It would be like me saying that Obama is a cop killing terrorist because he was buddies with Bill Ayers.  Simply not true.

Name: Anonymous 2008-09-05 8:18

>>35

Nah, she was integral in that earmarks fiasco and you trying to elucidate to the more intelligent of on the job of a governor doesn't exactly speak to her innocence in that NOR in the charge of cronyism and abuse of power. Like I said, if this was Obama I doubt you'd sweep this under the rug. Her mistakes are just that: Mistakes. I'm sure you can find similar shit with other politicians. I think the main point is that by the time one is nominated for VP-status...they have gotten that shit out of their system. It's silly for the Repubs to cry about inexperience and then fly this silly under-educated woman at us.

Secondly, no president should be a warhorse. We don't want any warhorses if we can help it and that term warhorse is highly dubious to me considering that a majority of the country agree that the whole policing the world thing is a sucker bet.

The reason why is to come:

"As it was, he took a couple shots in the dark, and those miscalculations have defined his presidency."

Miscalculations? The cutting back of Habeus Corpus and lying (or upselling) an uneeded war is a "miscalculation"? Come on, man. Cut it with the "my party is always right" bullshit. I refuse to believe you're this dense.

Name: Anonymous 2008-09-05 16:01

Incorrect. She illegally gained access to the trooper's files. Then illegally pressured his Lieutenant to fire him. Then illegally fired the Lieutenant when he refused to break the law for her.

What the trooper did doesn't even enter into it. She broke the law multiple times and abuse her powers. She is going to be removed from office over this. If she had an honor she'd step down from McCain's ticket too.

I am no fan of the Alaska Trailer Trash family and want them nowhere near the White House, but really, your tinfoil hat is on too tight.

If this were the worst thing I'd heard about her I wouldn't care.  Aren't there far worse things in the background of this family?  Like, her pregnant jailbait whore daughter?  The manner in which she has raised her children tells me all I need to know about her intelligence, her judgement, and her ability to influence those around her.  They make my blood run cold.

I can't motivate myself to give two shits if she bent a rule to get rid of a dirty cop who drank on the job, it may be the one and only good thing she ever did in her entire public career.

Name: Anonymous 2008-09-07 7:19
