Who needs Israel?

Now that the cold war is over, Israel has become a strategic liability for the United States.  But no aspiring politician is going to say so in public or even raise the possibility because the pro-Israel lobby is so powerful.

What was Israel's strategic value in the first place? Was it the continued legitimization of apartheid, torture and genocide? If so, I'd say Israel's strategic value for America is greater than ever.

Israel's strategic value is that it has homeland ties for all of the world's Jewry, which means those 3 million Jews in the USA consider it personally important, and since they control our media, our universities and most of our government, well, THAT'S why Israel is effectively the 51st State.

Too bad that Isreal is the Nazi Germany of the Middle East.  But that's nothing new for the USA, with it's long history of supporting brutal regimes.

The Americans need Israel the same way we need competing professional athletes. It's someone to root for. It makes opening the newspaper in the morning exciting. Israel is basically Americas football team in the league of constant war that is the Middle East.

We didn't give Nukes to the Israelis, the Israelis developed them by themselves.

They've never explicitly stated they're owners of Nuclear Weapons, but it's certain they do... although they will never inform the world community.

The CIA estimates their nuclear arsenal to include 75 devices.

Along with their subversive attitudes in telling the world about their Nukes, they also have an active biological weapons program as well as capabilities to starting chemical productions if they so choose.

Take a look at the Vela Incident, where it was reported the Israeli's used an Island in the Indian Ocean to conduct a nuclear test.
