Now that the cold war is over, Israel has become a strategic liability for the United States. But no aspiring politician is going to say so in public or even raise the possibility because the pro-Israel lobby is so powerful.
Remember also that we routinely demonize North Korea and Iran for not allowing in nuclear inspectors, but we gave South Africa and Israel passes for the same issue. Hypocrisy much? Or do we support regimes who put the smack down on the right niggers? (Recall carefully that the Palestinians are the "niggers of the Middle East".)
