Should musicians be millionaires though? Or actors? Or athletes? They get money mostly for being famous. That's what capitalism does. It doesn't sort out retards or reward people only for useful contributions and great ideas. People buy what they like, and or what is useful to them.  Capitalism rewards those buisiness people who create products people like.  The profits they will make, their fame, and other things, will likely depend on this, as well as how well they run their business.  All transactions are voluntary.

The sad fact is that people are easily manipulated idiots. They buy what's advertised most aggressively, not what's really useful to them. Obviously I'm not in favor of the government deciding what people should have and what they need, because we've already seen how hard those countries failed.

But you have to admit even though capitalism does pretty good compared to other systems (except on those days when the stock market blows up because somebody discovered that all the virtual money doesn't really exist) it probably wastes A LOT of energy on completely irrelevant shit and isn't really THAT good at sorting out retards.
