IS CHINA'S GOVERNMENT MEAN?

a lot of countries have their own problems with their governments, but damn, the chinese in particular seem to be pretty heavyhanded in their treatment of their citizens. is this just an exaggeration perpetuated by the media or are they really proper mean?

Half truth and half communist propaganda. Marx was authoritarian and communism was intended to be very authoritarian and stricly controlled system. True communism is strictly authoritarian society in which every worker works for good of state and they have no right to own property, but state is supposed to provide them all they need. In short it's slave camp in which everyone is supposed to be equal as in equally fucked. Communist countries in past have been quite true to Marx, but the fact is that their rulers have in all cases abused system for their personal gain.

Maybe.  But, whether or not Communism as a system of government can be enforced in non-authoritarian methods is very doubtful to me.  I see the authoritarianism as a necessary additive to the mixture in order to keep people subservient.

Socialism is not the same as Nazism.  In fact they`re on opposite ends of the political spectrum.

China has billions of people being raised as cattle.  For some reason, that country hasn`t exploded into civil war as of yet, but I guarantee that eventually there will be a political revolution there, and the fallout will hit most of the eastern countries and eventually filter into the west.  It`ll probably happen either before or during world war three.

It's common misconception that Nazi's were purely right-wing, but it's understandable as typically fascist are right-wing. Nazism however was left-wing fascism.

The only thin distinguishing national socialists from socialists was the amount of social freedom they allowed, which is just an irrelevant political tidbit.

The idea is, get a bunch of people and tell them they are oppressed and downtrodden, blame all your problems on some secret society which supposedly no one can see or touch, then generalise all political opponents as being part of this conspiracy and claim that if the you owned the government and the govenrment had complete control over everything the country would be a better place.
