IS CHINA'S GOVERNMENT MEAN?

a lot of countries have their own problems with their governments, but damn, the chinese in particular seem to be pretty heavyhanded in their treatment of their citizens. is this just an exaggeration perpetuated by the media or are they really proper mean?

I can't see a revolution happening in China.  The government there has gun bans.  They have all the firepower. 

In China, the government and the people are not the same thing.
