IS CHINA'S GOVERNMENT MEAN?

a lot of countries have their own problems with their governments, but damn, the chinese in particular seem to be pretty heavyhanded in their treatment of their citizens. is this just an exaggeration perpetuated by the media or are they really proper mean?

Yeah, that's what I say to every communist. Go and start your own commune. That way they won't destroy other people's lives with their beliefs and can be happy in their commune. They could even make it a tourist attraction called Soviet Village or something.
