My friend is studying abroad, and she sent me a small package of the local junk - candy, toys, brochures. What are some obnoxiously American things I could send back to her? After Easter I'm sure they'll start selling 4th of July stuff.
All I can think of is Cadbury Eggs, which aren't even American. She's in Kyoto, so they already have a lot of our junk, including retarded Obama merch.
Maybe I'll just draw her a picture of a sad face and write "BAWWWW" and send it in a big box.

Why oh why must you imbeciles from the land of the imageboards continue to discover these beautiful textboards?
To remain on topic, perhaps some Hershey's chocolate, I ♥ NY t-shirts, maybe a pamphlet with trivia of American history, etc. Just some example ideas.
I suggest you send US dollars, and lots of them. And a tip -- stay out of Italy, because the postal service is rife with criminality. I know this because on more than KRESKIN
I think I will send some American singles, a Chicago area train schedule, and a little American flag if I can find one at the supermarket in April. What sort of shippable food could I send?
Do you think something like Gummy Worms are stupidly American? Or is there another childhood candy you can think of?

I was thinking Hershey's something, but it's the same reason I can't send a Cadbury Egg - chocolate gets smashed/ broken in the mail. It's already about $10 to send a "large envelope", so it wouldn't be worth a stiff box to keep that stuff safe. Ah well.
