Arguing with chinese nationalists all the day, I find myself repeating myself. And the reason I repeat myself is because they love to ignore the above message because it is convenient for them to do so. I call it the "The Imbalance of China vs Western World Views" and it should be obvious why.

So I'm offering you my copypasta, you'll need it in the future.

1) For the most part, is the message correct?

See, I am civil libertarian. I believe in human rights and civil rights. These include reasonable freedom of speech, no government-enforced censorship, and reasonably unrestricted media and a free internet.

My problem is that institutions like the government, whether its the US government or the Chinese government are corrupt. Corporations are not necessarily corrupt, they just want more and more money. Because the government is corrupt, they are happy to accept donations from companies and to fuck the people over.

Where China comes into this is that their form of society is the type of society that OUR (american) government wants. Endless propaganda, censorship everywhere, and an obedient sheep-like public. If any nail sticks up, the self-enforced guardians of the status quo will proceed to hammer them down.

The big issue is that corporations, due to their love of money, are sucking the cocks of China and the Chinese government.

So right now we import Chinese-made products, but my concern is that over time, we will being importing Chinese-style totalitarianism, Chinese-style censorship, Chinese-style lack of fundamental civil liberties, and Chinese-style restricted internet.

And these will be welcomed by our American governments and American corporations because this means that the balance of power will swing away from us the public and towards the institutions. With the above limits, we the public continue our spiral downwards to stupidity and apathy.

Now, the government and corporations and the rich ruling elite can do whatever they want without accountability and transparency.

And we, due to censorship in the media and internet, publically broadcast propaganda and self-enforced guardians of the status quo, ensures that no-one has the ability to speak out.

So people who say I am racist against the Chinese do not understand my way of thinking.

I am speaking out against Chinese and American government corruption because I have the ability to do so.

Chinese people only have the ability to speak out against the American government, not the Chinese government.

Until relatively recently (as in, 1965) it was implicitly accepted that the US was an organic nation, no different from its European counterparts. This could also lead to other things like "yes, porn should be banned" or "violent video games should be banned" or "you are not allowed to be atheist"

And these things will be justified because the "majority" thinks so.

Democracy is or should be about granting everyone with equal rights.

NOT about using the power of the majority to lessen the rights of those who are perceived to be in the minority.

Since about 90% of any population in any country are stupid people, I think "tyranny of the majority" is a very realistic threat.
