Chinese people living in China while criticizing China = Any references (particular comments which criticize the Chinese government or government related issues) to this on the internet are deleted, on the media are blocked from appearing, any protests are shut down, and anyone who persists with criticizing the Chinese government are arrested, "re-educated", branded a traitor/Anti-China by other chinese people, and in the worst case scenario, dissidents are tortured and executed quietly.

Arguing with chinese nationalists all the day, I find myself repeating myself. And the reason I repeat myself is because they love to ignore the above message because it is convenient for them to do so. I call it the "The Imbalance of China vs Western World Views" and it should be obvious why.

So I'm offering you my copypasta, you'll need it in the future.

1) For the most part, is the message correct?
2) Anyone want to photoshop the above, maybe add graphics like big green tick, big green tick.. big red cross?
3) Instead of words, maybe you can even use images to communicated the message.

Well since you've decided to void your subjective value judgements in these little turds on my sidewalk this eve, I guess I will point out a few of the flaws.  First:  I assume you're an American.  News Flash Yank, you have Zero moral authority in matters of state sponsored torture and execution.

Regarding the other criticisms, I'm left wondering one thing.  Have you ever lived there?  Listen to this, 'cause it's the most important thing you will ever hear about China when it comes to comparing it to the USA.  There is Chinese culture, and there is the Chinese government, and the Chinese people learned long, long before a white man ever set foot on the American continents that they are two different things. The Chinese people will tolerate it's governments' bad behavior so long as it's serving it's purpose.  When that time comes to an end, so will the government.  The Chinese people are tolerating questionable behavior on the part of their government because things are getting better there every single day.  Let's contrast this with Mae Guo.  That's what the Chinese call the USA.  BTW, It means Beautiful Country.  The USA does NOT have a culture distinct from its government.  I'm not judging this, just stating it as fact.  It's made up of many cultures brought together by the law.  Hopefully the many strengths this imparts will outweigh the one gaping weakness: When the system starts to inevitably disintegrate, there's nothing to fall back on.   For at least eight years the US government has been acting in direct violation of it's own laws and ideals, up to and including election fraud.  And I'm not just talking about Bush/Gore.  Does the word gerrymandering ring a bell.  The fact is, the only shared value I see in the USA that I see real world results from is materialistic greed.  Freedom?  Oh yeah, no question that it has greater freedom of speech.  But don't confuse that with political freedom.  And don't think for an instant that US citizens have greater personal freedom than the Chinese.  In China one of the first things you learn is that they really understand Live and let Live.  If you mind your own business, you are left alone.  In the US somebody's always taking somebody to "Court" because of what they're doing in their bedroom or own back yard.
China vs. The West.  Fuck you.  It's you and people like you making it adversarial.  The Chinese have embraced western philosophies, science, and art.  What do you know of them.  It's like a Brilliant teacher fighting with a brilliant former student out of insecurity and fear of displacement.  There's no more time left for that.  We must join together now, or all will be lost.
