BTW I find myself banned sometimes, I browse with my 3G mobile connection and perhaps the IP that I go out to the Internet with is shared with other people because I never post anything bad enough to get me banned.
It sucks when I get that type of ban that doesn't even allow me to just browse the boards, it's the worst. I can do with not posting, but not being able to even browse...
Man I don't know what I'd do if I lived in a country like Australia where internet has bandwidth limits, no 18 rating for video games and loli drawings are illegal.

Ok, so this is what I think happened. Spammer-kun took a trip to /v/ and started doing what he does best to all the fighting game and LoL threads, as well as starting threads just to fill with spam. One of the /v/ mods kept trying to ban him but to no avail. So he thought, "I know! I'll just ISP ban the spammer! Then he can't post no matter how many proxies he is behind!".
the servers have been getting progressively shittier for months. moot is slowly starving the websites user base, delays like these will become a regular occurrence and more and more people will move on (plenty already have). with this method moot can slowly phase out 4chan without dumping a massive amount of anonymous faggots on the rest of the internet all at once. moots outgrown 4chan and he doesn't give a shit about it anymore, its more trouble then its worth for him but he has an obligation to not just pull the plug and fuck over everyone else.

Flipfag here, not all ISPs in the Philippines are banned. I was in an internet cafe a while ago, they were using BayanTel and i can freely post in all boards of 4chan. Though at home I'm using PLDT (Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company), and it sucks because it is still banned. I hope this will get resolved soon, i really missed posting on /a/.

I'm BRBR HUE and I've been range banned for years, since I have a dynamic IP if I reset my router like a million times I'll be assigned a different region and the board will let me post again.
If you're getting an ISP banned message you probably share a dynamic IP with a person who did something illegal, probably for CP or commercial spam.
Also could happen if the board thinks you're using some sort of public connection, like 3G or Wi-Fi.
