NO IN THE EAR HEADPHONE PLEASE

Im looking for the best pair of small headphones for under $400. I don't want any big cup head phones as I want to be able to put them in my pocket. I also hate in the ear head phones as they just bother my ears. The QC3s are a good example of the size head phones I'm looking for. I thought the QC3s were wonderful sound quality wise, but reviews of them make them seem like they really arent anything special.

grab any generic shit under 3 dollars
the human hear is capable of hearing in a range of wave sounds
and it cant hear vibration < 20 times per second or > 20,000 per second ,so any shit you buy, you will hear the same because unless you buy yourself a cyborg hears you cant hear any shit pass that range, so any expensive mobo its useless whit human hearing capabilities

The human ear was designed specifically to recognize waves traveling through air at a speed of 333 meters per second (… miles per hour). Having two ears allows us to receive and analyze surround sound, and to identify the approximate direction and distance to the point of origin.

Like any engineering design, the ear was specified to hear a certain range of vibrations (bandwidth) between 20 Hz and 20KHz. (Hz = Hertz = number of vibrations per second). Another limit of the ear is the volume; if the volume is too low – we wouldn’t be able to hear it; if it is too high we incur a permanent damage to our hearing capabilities. This damage is additive, meaning that the more we time we spend in a loud environment – the more damage is happening. It is advisable to use ear protection plugs if you are a band member and spend a lot of time in a noisy environment. You can easily estimate the damage to your ear when people tell you that the loudspeakers are earsplitting while you don’t seem to notice that.

between 20 Hz and 20KHz. (Hz = Hertz = number of vibrations per second).
i can hear sounds between about 16Hz and about 22kHz, and i know people who have an even broader range of hearing than that. i think whoever came up with those numbers needs to go back and do some real tests instead of just pulling arbitrary numbers out of the air.

wow! a superiro huamn being good for you son

Usually "sound" is used to mean sound which can be perceived by the human ear, i.e., "sound" refers to audible sound unless otherwise classified. A reasonably standard definition of audible sound is that it is a pressure wave with frequency between 20 Hz and 20,000 Hz and with an intensity above the standard threshold of hearing. Since the ear is surrounded by air, or perhaps under water, the sound waves are constrained to be longitudinal waves. Normal ranges of sound pressure and sound intensity may also be specified.

NOW EAT SHIT AND DIE YOU ILLITERATE AMERICAN
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hearing_(sense)
Humans can generally hear sounds with frequencies between 20 Hz and 20 kHz. Human hearing is able to discriminate tiny differences in loudness (intensity) and pitch (frequency) over that large range of audible sound. This healthy human range of frequency detection varies significantly with age, occupational hearing damage, and gender; some individuals are able to hear pitches up to 22 kHz and perhaps beyond, while others are limited to about 16 kHz. Most adults' ability to hear frequencies higher than the frequency range between 200 and 8,000 hertz, where most human communication takes place, begins to deteriorate in early middle age.[1]

You're full of shit with your pseudo-science, Bass is enough to distinguish a $5 headphone from a $25 pair of headphones. I forgot that 4chan was filled with people who think the only thing worth money are video games and their computer performace. Obviously a terrible place to ask for any other kind of investment

dont cry emokid
also:
Humans can generally hear sounds with frequencies between 20 Hz and 20 kHz, so any thing you buy will hear the same ;'(
