I have been hearing people say that, due to the fact that only those who are interested in a topic enough to take a survey would do so, surveys are biased towards extreme viewpoints. I have recently come across a survey using 571 test subjects which found that 100% of people take surveys. This leads me to believe that surveys are, in fact, not biased by nature.

Can't find it now, but I distinctly remember it had the words "evolutionary advantage" in it somewhere...
