Post your questions for Stallman here. I'll send him a link to this thread.
First question, it has been said that you do not do much programming any more, due to using your time in other ways. Do you ever miss the times when you would program for hours at a time?

Smells like an incoming anti-trust lawsuit. I am licking my lips in anticipation. We should place bets on where they will get fined most (my money's on the EU).

You're the person making an rms thread. The reason we did this for The Sussman was because he's a hero around here. If we wanted to ask rms questions, we would just email him ourselves.

Nope. You know what Microsoft wants: take over the rest of the markets(Linux,Mac,BSD and misc. subpercent OSes like QNX and Beos(which is quite remarkable for its time)), and the easiest way is to lock their hardware. Secure boot will be the first step.
Now you will have to buy 'specialized hardware' for Linux, like LISP machines.
Some niche market for hobbyists and tinkerers. 99% of the planet will run locked windows PCs and tablets. http://mjg59.dreamwidth.org/5850.html http://www.tech-faq.com/linux-licensing-in-conflict-with-secure-boot-support.html
(the fiasco of "illegal numbers" of hd-dvd key didn't taught them anything, and it going to be fun).

While I do appericate the FUD people are spreading about it as that will prevent the situation from going out of hand (such as manufacturers not making the 'secure boot' thing optional or not allowing users to change certificates, which they do now), it seems most manufacturers allow turning off this feature and they also allow you to keep it on, but change the keys, which makes this perfectly manageable. It would be a huge problem if they didn't, and Microsoft doesn't require them to allow user-changable certs or making it optional, but it doesn't forbid it either (with current hardware is optional). I also expect the feature to be easily hackable by someone owning the hardware, but chances are manufacturers won't make their hardware in such ways as to actually require users to take such extreme measures.

I'm interested in it.

Its not like we have seen locked Apple and Android hardware.
x86 is a shining beacon of freedom in the sea of proprietary and locked hardware.
If we allow one 'secure boot' in the door, the house is not ours anymore.
If Microsoft can, it will. Thats Embrace(UEFI), Extend(Secure Boot) and Extinguish(Lockdown) working as planned.

What advantages does Windows have over the MSDOS interfaces? None.
Less memory, less CPU, more control on hardware:DOS wins on all performance tests.

PLEASE SIGN YOUR RESPONSES SO WE CAN VERIFY THAT IT IS ACTUALLY YOU.
My question to RMS is is what could I do with my life? I do love free software and like to help it but there are other problems like hunger and war so I don't really know what to do......
In one of your articles[1], you wrote: If your daughter gets pregnant by the football captain you blame the school for poor sex education.
A responsible teacher would have taught her effective birth control techniques as well as pleasurable sex techniques.
What exactly did you mean by ``to teach pleasurable sex techniques''?
It has beensaid that YOU are still in communication with Steve Jobs.
What does the afterlifelook liketo him?

Stallman confirmed for bro. Answered the questions. Get a load of this shit.
------------------
First question, it has been said that you do not do much programming any more, due to using your time in other ways. Do you ever miss the times when you would program for hours at a time?
Sometimes. But I could not do it now as well as I did when I was
young. Meanwhile, there are lots of people writing free software now; my contribution, added to theirs, would be a small addition. What I am doing now is a lot more important, and a lot more scarce.
Second question, What's your thoughts on the 'secure boot' feature related to Windows 8 which prevents booting unauthorized operating systems?
Microsoft, take your boot off our computers!
Third question, What guns/weapons do you own? In addition: What is your favorite martial arts style?
The only weapons I own are two swords that have been given to me as gifts. I don't know how to use them, though. I have never done martial arts.
Fourth question, My question to RMS is is what could I do with my life? I do love free software and like to help it but there are other problems like hunger and war so I don't really know what to do......
Work on any of them -- pick a problem you see a way to be effective at!
Fifth question, In one of your articles, you wrote: If your daughter gets pregnant by the football captain you blame the school for poor sex education. A responsible teacher would have taught her effective birth control techniques as well as pleasurable sex techniques.
Yes, a good education should include those.
What exactly did you mean by ``to teach pleasurable sex techniques''?
My idea of a sex class is like a massage class or a dance class. You have a class of 10 to 16 people, either equally straight males and straight females, or all gays of the same sex. And one or two teachers.
The teacher would demonstrate a technique by doing it to a student and inviting the student to do it to the teacher, while the other students watch. Then the students would do the technique with each other, in couples usually, and every so often the teacher would call on one group to advance around the circle.

I think that his answer to the last question is awesome.
Christians would never stand for it. Lets live in rms's country when he makes one.

There's more. I replied to his email. Thank you so much for answering! I especially enjoyed your answer as to what to do with your life, sage words.
Strangely enough, some people have shown incredulity that these answers are actually coming from you in regards to the sex education question. I think they find it hard that someone they admire for your political action regarding free software has views that teachers should be sexually involved with the students. Personally, I can see the merit in it. As I come from England, when I was growing up it was hardly ever discussed in school, and this lead to a lot of bad decisions by some of the people I knew. Also I've met some women over the years who could probably have benefited from a few lessons in sex ed.

I gather that men, in general, need it more than women.
In Mangaia, according to an anthropology book I read, everyone starts having sex in the early teens, and they have sex with most of the teenagers they know, and learn various sorts of "sexual gymnastics". Later they start forming relationships that are deeper than that.
It would be so nice to have grown up in a society that wasn't prudish about sex.

Listen Captain Autism, these answers are all true.
If you don't believe me, ask him yourself. I feel bad that you will have to bother him before you believe me, but whatever.
Why don't you believe it though? It's all totally plausible, and in keeping with what he puts on his website.
