Shitty programming language

Name: Anonymous 2010-01-30 16:09

You know what the shittiest programming language ever is? Haskell. Seriously, you can't change the value of a variable, and functions can only have one argument. How do you expect to ever be able to write a real program in such a useless language?

I know right? And it has no loops, too, so you have to unroll them manually, and god help you if you don't know at design time if you don't know how many times a loop will need to run.

And it also has no IO.

4/10. You're just coming off as ignorant. You need better understanding to get a better score.

0/10

I don't expect you to write a real program.

*sigh* this shit again

I suppose if you can only pass one parameter per function you have to pass arrays.  Can't create arrays?  Your language sucks.

>>2
No loops?  No problem.  Just use recursion.  Can't do recursion?  Your language sucks.

>>3
No IO?  No problem.  The user sucks.

Well I'm sure as heck I won't be able to write a real one in Haskell.

You're just coming off as ignorant.
Isn't that the point of trolling, at least one method of it?

>>10
The point of good trolling is to make good inflammatory observations and conclusions. >>1 was just poor. Unlike /prog/'s greatest, he doesn't make me want to rage.

>>11
What about >>2, then? How was it?

If their "good" observations than that's not trolling, just discussion.

Rather than arrays, if your language cannot take functional arguments and return functional arguments, it sucks.
>>11
agreed
>>12
>>2 was better, but not by much
>>13
I think you misunderstood >>11, it should probably be read as good (inflammatory discussions). Unfortunately, English text has ambiguous precedence.
