LUA questions

Name: Anonymous 2005-11-12 1:11

Could anyone answer:
-how difficult LUA is to learn
-if there's an easy-building program (maybe menu-based, etc., anything to make it easier)
-how long it would take to gather the resources required to learn the scripting

Compared to other languages Lua is very simple, but it's mostly used as an embedded programming language for C/C++ programs.  So if you are not a C programmer who wants to add a scripting language to your program it would probably be better to use another language with lots of libraries like Python, Java, or C.

This is actually disturbingly common. It bothers me and I'm not even one of the developers. I can't imagine how they feel about it.

oh, they're fine with it; their new tagline is LUA: the REALLY LOUD language.

Don't change these.
