2012 Must Be 1 vs. 1 Ultimately.

If Donald Trump goes Independent - the Republicans musn't run anybody and just swallow it and throw their support behind Donald Trump, even though that's politically taboo, there's NO WAY there must be a split in the race. It's too dangerous to have Obama get reelected. They'll just have to skip this presidential election if Trump trys something.

Name: Anonymous 2011-04-14 18:13

Republican party not running
It's a 2-party system, dumbass. They must run.

The primary goal of the 2012 presidential election is to STOP BARACK OBAMA. Gonna have to make the ultimate sacrifice in this election if worse comes to worse and Donald Trump runs in the general election.

Here are all possible outcomes of the 2012 USA presidential election (considering an infinite number of universes):

1. Donald Trump doesn't run, Republicans throw a tea-partier up (one who got the most air time), Obama wins election.

2. Donald Trump runs, Republicans throw a tea-partier up, Obama wins.

3. Donald Trump runs, Republicans don't run in order to support him, Obama wins.

4. Ron Paul runs as Independent, Obama wins.

5. Ron Paul runs as Republican, Obama wins.

6. Default: Obama wins.

So wait, even in the "President is assassinated" universe, Obama still wins?

Yes. Do you understand yet?

Name: Anonymous 2011-04-14 22:22

There is no third party beyond the "kosher" jew run green party.
It's a two party system, it's not legally possible for a third party to run.

Name: Anonymous 2011-04-14 22:30

Why do you keep assuming Trump will run as independent?

Fuck it, I'm voting for either Ron Paul or Gary Johnson either way. I'd rather stick to my principles then simply vote against Obama.

Name: Anonymous 2011-04-15 1:22

why is it too dangerous to have obama reelected?

Well, there are MANY reasons why but the main one is the national debt that recently has entered the TRILLION dollar range. It's not sustainable under Obama, and would take a literal maverick to bring it down. That's the GOP's goal, also, so as long as Trump pledges to bring it down, I don't see why we can't entrust the race to him.

national debt

you do realize that debt is necessary for a nation to function? please stop talking about the debts of nations like a debt that has to be repaid. it's not "debt" like your car loan, mortgage, or credit card bill. also please stop watching fox news.

I'm biting because I find these answers amusing usually.  Why is debt necessary for a nation to function?

Private debt is needed, if you don't allow a business to take a loan when it has spotted a niche in the market it could expand into that will pay for the loan's interest then you are just shooting yourself in the foot. Governments however are a different ballpark.

Then, there's such a thing as TOO MUCH DEBT, Mr. "President"!

Its dangerous if obama doesn't get re-elected...

Do everyone have a 3 minute memory??   You know what George W.'s plan was to pay down the deficit(in 3 years) have all his tax cuts expire! returning the tax income to 5 trillion a year. Obama wanted this but the GOP voted against since they are wholly owned by the corps...

If the Dems sweep the house and senate again you bet they the 1,2,3 plan well go into effect...

But what is it you ask, well its all the stuff people thought was bad but never looked into it...

The green energy bubble was supposed to be the next big boom, but it was going to be controlled unlike housing, this meant jobs and revenue, reducing OPECs iron grip on us and regulating the markets that Clinton goofed on.

Then healthcare real universal care, remember everyone complaining about higher taxes to pay for state benifits, and companies complaining about cost? Well with federal universal healt care its no long an issue for states or companies. As a business owner I would have love that I no longer had to pay for my people healthcare, because everyone already had it...

Then of course the banks and wall street, I need not say anything on this really I think we all know...  After 30 years of the lowest taxes in history for the rich its time to restore the Clinton era tax rates...  Cry me a river if your rich and complain its only a 3% hike on a income of over a million a its a drop in the bucket....

Name: Anonymous 2011-04-16 13:03

The green energy bubble was supposed to be the next big boom, but it was going to be controlled unlike housing, this meant jobs and revenue, reducing OPECs iron grip on us and regulating the markets that Clinton goofed on.
That's retarded.  You think energy is the only thing that is produced from petroleum products?  Thanks to Rockefeller and his research, there's nary a product today that is built that does not directly incorporate the use of petroleum.  Solar cells and windmills not exempted from that list.  Nuclear reactors, ethanol refineries (who have the added stigma of being "less green" than a petrol refinery: it's just that the product burns cleaner after the fact, but they balance out), and that's just considering energy production.  Textiles, food processing, basic manufacturing and production.  Virtually EVERYTHING uses oil, as some lubricant, as some building block.

And that's not even taking a wack at green energy systems that are inherently unreliable, which is all but the two of them that are not primarily influenced by weather patterns.  Geothermal is pretty good but they haven't figured out how to make it perfectly sustainable as the wells still suffer cooldown and depletion effects after some time leading to fewer returns and eventually a locality of stagnant wells.  You think drilling for oil harms the Earth? at least the hydrocarbons can all go away and the only ones who will care are humans, but what about depleting the Earth's inherent heat?

And you don't want "bubbles."  There's a reason they're called "bubbles" - they're hollow inside.  It looks and can even be spurned into something that seems a profitable system but in reality it's nothing substantial.  It's empty.  A waste of finances in the end.

Name: Anonymous 2011-04-16 16:53

Did has say anything about plastics you idiot? Beside if oil isn't being process for fuel then there will be for processing into plastics hence a price drop. Aside from the fact you should be recycling away, you lazy bastard.

And that crap about Weather issues? You fail to understand how a power grid works, I suggest you look at Germany's power system. Where there is so much green power made that residents are paid to keep their lights on. You also don't understand how geothermal power work, there is NO depletion of wells its a closed loop system. The problem with geothermal power is location, but the has been over come recently thank to research done at MIT funded by Obama! And you can't actually depleting the earths inherent heat unless you split the planet in two. The heat is generated from the core because the planet is a giant dynamo.

And the reason they are called bubble is due to the rapid expansion of a particular field or industry. What he said is CONTROLLED meaning that fail safes would have been in place(cap n trade), yes it would come to an end as the need for carbon credits died down which would have meant that energy cost dropped off the charts...

Name: Anonymous 2011-04-16 17:44

>>19
You overestimate Germany but that's another mater entirely, beyond the scope of this thread.  Why does no one talk about geothermal as publicly as they do the other forms of green energy?

And the reason they are called bubble is due to the rapid expansion of a particular field or industry.
Which is unrelated to its actual worth or value.  When the two finally catch up to each other, people involved tend to find what they are holding is worth much less than what they speculated.  "Managed bubble?"  How does that even work? once it bursts, the worth vanishes.  Cap and trade wasn't even designed to be a failsafe; it was a get rich shell game.

>NEED for carbon credits?

There is no need, the entire green industry is an invented thing, why do you liberals always seem to be so goddamn delusional about why your specific policies were ever implemented? Government isn't your friend, powerful leftists are not organizing for the benefit of USA or our people.

It's incredible how these leftists babble about "evil corporations" which control everything, when you can see the reality of power in washington is alien jews and other sorts. You are gullible fools and traitors.

Americans are the most simple minded, passive aggressive people in the entire world.

Want to know how I know this?

You vehemently defend the same rich, corporatist scumbags who steal your pension, who foreclose on your homes, who take away you constitutional rights, the same ones who send your children off to die in a war for $$$$. They steal your 401K and give it to Goldman Sachs, then send your jobs to India and the Phillipines....and yet Americans wake up day in and day out and bicker with one another over who's side is right.

While you sit for hours reading blogs, watching your choice of state propaganda that is network news, arguing endlessly about Bush versus Obama, liberal versus conservative, donkey versus elephant, there are politicians and elected officials skimming the system and getting fat and rich off of your hard earned dollars.

Here is a hint. Both sides are the same. Politicians could care less about party affiliation, they only vote what is best for them and the lobbyists who pay them. It is all fixed like pro wrestling, in front of the cameras they are enemies, but behind closed doors they are all pigs eating from the same trough of slop....Wake up America!! The game is rigged!!

So I ask this as I have gotten simply sick and tired of reading and watching as common Americans who are taking it on the nose by these crooked political institutions bare teeth and defend the same corrupt, crooked scheisters who are responsible for their suffering. It is almost like Stockholm Syndrome, where the victim stands up for their abuser, swearing that he/she is different than the others.

Well guess what Democrat, guess what Republican, your party isn't different, your party isn't above reproach, your beloved political institution does the same awful things that you claim only those "other" people do. That same political party that you donate to, that you volunteer for, that you defend tooth and nail look's at you as sub-human and expendable. You have been lied to.

So why defend these cretins who obviously DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU? Get it? They do NOT CARE about your future, your family, your quality of life. Why show allegiance to a party that threw you overboard years ago?

Thats right spew that neo-con crap...  you idiot.   Alien Jews?  you fucking kidding me?   I'm pretty sure your not of age to vote, but when you are do us all a favor and stay the fuck in your parents basement and let the adults take care of things...

I work in politics, it never stops to surprise me how little you idiots actually know about you government or the people that run it....

Sorry to tell you but its not a polarized world as much as you might want to think that because that how you've been raised by moron parents.... It not Us vs Them, Right vs Left, Red vs Blue..

I live and work to keep a country of 300 million people running and they have no fucking idea how good they have it.....   The game isn't rigged there is just a lot of morons playing out for they're own self interest...   There is no great conspiracy, no dark overlord, no secret society bend on enslaving the human race. Just a bunch of morons trying to get by....

I've been to germany, no I do not underestimate it. They are a model of green energy, more so once they shut down the last of their nuclear reactorshttp://youtu.be/aNZgjEDPe24. Their power grid is a 100x what Americas is.

Also yes cap-trade has a built in fail safe which is the diminish return and resource due to the credits not being need...  Besides that it has a proven track record, it was used in the 80s to stop the spread of Acid Rain, and in one state(new jersey) they use it to generate ton of revue for solar and wind project all over the state. However I've heard the their hog of a Governor has raided the fund to pay for tax breaks to millionaires....

Since you seem more up and up about it, do you have any information about New Jersey SRECs?  I live in New Jersey and finding non-biased information about them is a chore.  The only real information I can ever find based on actual statistics involved that surprising cookie jar dip - the money it collects into a environmental fund of some kind isn't even a single percent of the budget of the state government.

Funny how liberals can say this when CONSTANTLY THROUGHOUT HISTORY everything was done by secret societies and conspiracies.

Alien jews as in, alien to our country and race and ideologies you fuckwit.

Funny how all you have are baseless assertions and insults. Fucking liberals should hang.

>>25
Doesn't matter anything, green energy is wildly more expensive then anything else. Cap and trade is irrelevant, carbon doesn't cause fucking acid rain. solar and wind are SCAMS. Nuclear provides cheap constant energy to everyone. Green costs 10 times as much, and requires REGULAR power plants to exist anyways because "green" energy is not guarrenteed!

>the national debt that recently has entered the TRILLION dollar range
Why do I keep hearing so many myths about the debt? It entered the TRILLION dollar range before Reagan got in and nearly tripled under the Reagan administration.

If Obama can finally find his balls and really push for an expiration of Bush's tax cuts and make big cuts to the military while at least maintaining PREVENTATIVE social services (stuff like Planned Parenthood that use little federal funds and probably save money in the long run) then I'll be happy.

I like Ron Paul as a person. So much more consistent with social liberties than his son. But, goshdamn, he really is unelectable (which is the only thing Trump has said that I agree with).

Exit 28 off 295, then another twelve miles south along 168; or get off the Expressway south at exit 38.  I'm thereabouts.
Grew up in north Jersey though.

"Planned Parenthood that use little federal funds and probably save money in the long run"

Totally federal money spent on abortions last year 80,000 dollars, which means that .000012 cents of everyones' tax paid for that...

"tripled under the Reagan administration"

Slashed taxes for the rich from 70% to 40%, raised taxes on the middle class and poor 4 times in 3 years...   all by 1983..

Check the state website nj.gov.  There was money in it last year 158 million if I remember this in turn was to pay for the tax rebates for those who sell back their power to the grid. This only applies up to 30KW systems. After all is said and done a system in NJ tends to pay for itself in 5 years max. Faster if you have a couple small wind turbines which arent restricted in terms of pay back.

Recently installed a solar hot water heating system that I built from some web plans an old glass patio table and a bunch of other energy saving stuff.

PSE&G pays me $240 a month for what I put back in grid.

Don't change these.
