Another Example:
Scientific data and Global Warming...
Don't believe global warming is a horrible impending disaster that'll destroy humanity? Libfags will say, "what are you crazy? ALL the scientific data says it's going to be terrible unless we do something about it right this second!" Most likely they're referencing the IPCC report, which they have probably not read or even glanced at.
Now, if you tell them at there are a lot of scientists who disagree and present to them the scientific data that is contrary to what they believe they will flip out and say, "zomg it's just politically motivated bullshit funded by neoconz."
So apparently, in the libfag mind, you can only trust the first data you come across, which was most likely heard on the evening news. You don't even really need to read it yourself, because 3 minute news clips are excellent at conveying complex ideas and information.
Now, have a look at Al Gore, the crusader and champion of the earth. He desperately wants to ensure that the earth doesn't get any warmer. And wants everyone to cut CO2 output and conserve resources, go green and all that jazz. Well it sure is nice to see he's leading by example, flying all over the place in a private jet and owning a huge home that sucks up tons of electricity. And let's not forget Live Earth concerts... I mean concerts don't create a fuck ton of trash or use ridiculous amounts of electricity or anything like that...
