Abortion is allegedly illegal in China. I don't know if raep or incest counts but in any case getting abortions in china doesn't seem to be that hard.

I think their current over-reliance on the migrant worker system is a big issue personally. Their militarism would come in second. If they start leaning more of their finances into actually developing their culture rather than thinking about a government system built off nothing but flawed philosophy that completely ignores human nature or about taking back Taiwan etc they can develop into a reasonable country.
It's already been made overly obvious that America isn't exactly perfect either.
