Is there still time to arrest and prosecute those responsible for an illegal war and fix what has happened so far? Can the US still try to correct what it has done and become the first ever good superpower?
Or is that an idealist's dream, do politics never change and will the charade continue forever?

Well, there is still time, however i doubt it would happen. In the UK Tony Blair will soon stand down as prime minister and there are many people who are trying to bring him to trial for both the 'war' and his part in the 'loans for peerages' scandle. There is a chance this could happen, but for america i am unsure how they bring their leaders to trial.

Thing will never get better and things have never been better! Liberty is an illusion, human nature will always exist and all you can do is water it down, in affect the US is a waterred down despotism and the only way to get ahead is to become a despot. Except you don't have to kill anyone, just study and work hard in a good school of economics, climb the ladder, find a nice opportunity in a corrupt foreign country, bypass a lot of competition, cash in, retire and withdraw your shares, re-invest them in a more legit company and live off dividends for the rest of your life.
It's the american way!

Who cares about all this shit. It's just a bunch of monkey bumping into each other.
Go cry somewhere else you emo fag, go cry about all the thugs masquerading as "leaders" in many third world countries which according to you must be better than the USA, go ask the leaders of The Sudan whether they are following the law, go ask the leaders of China what laws exactly they are following, how about N. Korea Kim Jong sure is following a lot of laws while his people starve, the list goes on and on.
Guess what retard fuck in America there are actually laws that people follow, that is why for better or for worse Bush will be leaving office in 2008, so when exactly is Castro leaving office? or maybe Chavez, how about Mugabe?
But oh noes it must be Tony Blair and George Bush that are breaking laws so lets go after them.

>But oh noes it must be Tony Blair and George Bush that are breaking laws so lets go after them.
Probably becuase they are the ones that went after people for breaking the law in the first place. Practice what you preach.
And what laws would that be? The UNs laws? talk about practicing what you preach, oil for food ring a bell?
But leaving even that gross criminality aside, following UN laws worked wel lfor 800,000 Tutsies in Rwanda, its working real well for Christians in the Sudan, worked real well for the Kurds in Iraq and the other people put through Sadams torture factories, working real well in N. Korea and Iran.
And of course U.S is a part of UN. You dissing UN is basically you dissing U.S. On top of that there were several U.S companies involved in the oil for food. And boo hoo get off your high horse. I don't see Bush and Tony blair going after Mugabe.

Hi, I'm a new country and I am trying to decide how to act. Should I try to make my own standard for human rights based on my and my people's morals and our laws we wrote, or should I try to be one ounce better than Sudan? Thanks.

If Bush was a democrat with no cronies and no business associates he'd be impeached a lot earlier in his first or second term.
If bush were a democrat none of this would matter because all you mental midgets would think he was great, only because he was a democrat. Just like bubba greatest nigger president ever, what did he do? Absolutely nothing, other than selling nuclear secrets to china and ridding the .com bubble.

Next thing we know, it'll be Japan or China that have 'weapons of mass destruction.'
Well, it's true.
The real United States was gone shortly after WW2. Now all you have is a puppet for the global elite, a huge chunk of which are Jews and the rest wealthy whites. Somehow, both groups are loyal to zionism and the Israeli agenda. It is totally mindblowing.

despite what you losers think zionism isnt some crazy take over the world shit. The israilis got their land fairly, the un told them where to go, whitch sucked and then the palistinians got reinforcements, and the israelis beat them. End of story.
