Please give examples of societies that work best using the free market capitalism system. If you feel like using the United States as an example, please explain how a country that has the highest poverty rates and greatest differentiation between the rich and the poor is working better than other, more socialist countries in Europe.

Gap between rich and poor is integral part of capitalist system. You can't create system that is good for everybody. Another man's utopia is another's dystopia.

I like the idea of communism. But the commies of today are just to softcore =/
Difference between communist and capitalist is the level of efficiency of resource creation and distribution. Greater efficiency means more likely to survive external shocks.
hong kong? last i visted, people were rude, girls were crap and really quite a shithole of a place. i dated a girl from hong kong and she was a whacko.
oh yeah, plz elaborate why hong kong is a functional society under capitalism. i'm kinda interested.

because there are no whacko girls or rude people in communist societies.
I don't give a shit what kind of society people choose to live in as long as it's a choice. I don't believe that any government has the right to force communistic principles on individuals--> (I'm sad to say that that's becoming an offensive word these days...) Even if, according to communism, communism's ultimate goal is no government, it is utterly ridiculous to think that people will remain in a state of mutually supportive harmony after the government is gone... No matter what level you look at it on, communism, in short, sucks. Unless you choose to live under it... It sucks.

When Nixon visited the USSR, Brezhnev showed him a Soviet phone of the latest technology in which it was possible to call Hell. Nixon called the Devil. The conversation cost only 27 Kopecks.
Upon returning to America, Nixon told everyone about the Soviet marvel. But as it turned out such a phone had been invented in America a long time ago. Nixon again called Hell, but this time the conversation cost 12 thousand dollars!
Nixon, understandedly upset, cried, 'But in the USSR a phone call to Hell costs only 27 kopecks!'

Many of the capitalist systems cormmunists use to justify cormmunism are in fact cormmunist. Any government monopoly over the economy is cormmunism, the government which was corrupting Venezuela's crude oil business was cormmunist in practice, capitalist in name. From a rational perspective nothing has changed in Venezuela since before and after Chavez came to power, just the person in charge. Though I guess Chavez is willing to admit he is a communist.
Democratic-capitalism is the best form of government. For things which must be a monopoly, such as the police, they should be run by civil servants who are judged and disciplinned by political parties that compete with each other for votes. For most of the economy where monopolies are unneccesary, then money should be the determinning factor. In a perfect communism there would be 1 big coffee shop extraordinaire in every high street, it would be wonderful, with an economical infrastructure and it would have all the customers needed to fun every inch of coffee demand possible. However the world isn't perfect, the incentive just isn't there. Capitalism is just more practical, the coffee shops spend money on advertising and are split into different groups, but these groups compete and the advertising has to tell the truth because of the laws made democratically. Maybe in the distant future a new system will be made which will allow businesses to cooperate instead of compete and do so in a manner which encourages effort and determination. Until then capitalism is the answer and democracy combined with other methods of ensuring determination for things which should be monopolies.
Capitalist oriented systems produce all products you see today because people are rewarded when coming up with a new and interesting product. When the government controls the system, creativity is stifled, and lack of reward means people will not create new products.
There'd be no Xbox, PS3, Revolution, or credit cards in communist controlled systems.

Yes there would but there would just be shitty patriotic games. See: America's Army for a good example of a shitty state-produced game. Imagine all the soldiers as wearing red coats and furry hats instead of fatigues and ugly-ass helmets and there you go.
Im a neo-fascist spartan. Communist though has a few benefits.

Democratic capitalism only works if the system is periodically crashed so that wealth from the upper levels of the economy can be redistributed back into the lower levels of the economy. Given that so many American politicians are being bankrolled by corporate lobbying, nobody is carrying out the duty of keeping the corporations from growing unreasonably and becoming monopolies.

No government has enough money to convert to communism now, but if one were to begin small with it and maintain it without corruption for long enough, it could work. the reason no country could become communist is because "pure communism"; communism where there is no government and the people share everything, will never exist. there has to be a non-corrupt governing body that controls everything. no government can afford that.
i prefer socialism. it has all of the humanitarian benefits (equal oppourtinities, the necessities of life are guaranteed, etc.), but there is a market economy. it is simply a very tightly monitored and restricted market economy.

Communism could work on paper. And that's it.
People are to naturally corrupt and greedy to abide by the laws of a communist system, which is why none of them ever work. China is seen as an economic power, but that is only until their people have had enough oppression.

I think it's worth noting that most of the ways that economists gauge the success of an economy are largely based on how well-off the wealthier households and businesses are. It's fairly biased in favor of a free-market. IMO real libertarians are just college-educated punk anarchists.

Communism is fuckin retarded. They claim to want to eliminate government, yet any retard can eventually come to the conlclusion that increased communism = increased government control..... both in theory, and in practice. What moron can't see that it would take extreme government control to maintain all those stupid communist ideals?
Fuck communism! What's with all these idealistic people who want everyone to be equal. FUCK THAT!! I don't want to be equal. I want to rule and be greedy and screw lower life forms over because that is my nature and that's the way it's going to be, so suck it. Sucks to be you if you like communism because capitalism is here to stay.

So, all Germanics and AngloSaxons are part Jewish. Even more, most are part BLACK MOORISH ( see http://mu-atlantis.com ). All 'whites' with brown eyes, grey eyes, green eyes and blonde to black hair are partly Negroid. In fact, Scientific American made it clear.
Africans are the ONLY PURE RACE ON EARTH AND HAVE 98 - 100 PERCENT PURE NEGRO GENES.
Europeans are 75 PERCENT AFRICAN GENES/CHROMOSOMES.
Asians are 60 percent African genes/chromosomes.
Europeans are heavily mixed with Mongol Hun blood and genes due to centuries of rapes and invasion of Europe by the Barbarian 'blood drinkers' of the Eurasian Steppes. That drinking of human blood IS WHAT GAVE THE DISEASED MENTAL PROBLEMS TO SOME EUROPEANS.

>>72 it's intelligence. capitalism comes from everyperson looking out first for their own needs and wants. communism depends on people looking past that to the needs of a society as a whole first. this is a good idea. the problem is to get an entire population to do this requires brute force on the side of the govenment, this is because when 1 person starts to seek profit others follow. and the organized artificial system of communism collapses and becomes capitalism again.

Capitalism is not about needs and wants--communism is. Goods are distributed on the basis of who needs them.
Even under the weak socialism of the USSR it took a great effort to restore capitalism, and it was disastrous.
Ever heard of the 1917 revolution in Russia? It was called the "bloodless revolution" because most people sided with the communists.

you didn't answer my question and you answered my statement with a stupid stament of your own.
"Capitalism is not about needs and wants--communism is. Goods are distributed on the basis of who needs them."
Now that is a stupid ass statment. both are about wants and needs. hell economics of every type are about wants and needs. Capitalism doesn't equally distribute and never pretended to. Communism tends to distribute an equal amount of nothing to everyone.(except for the leaders of course who have everything they need) My problem isn't with the fantasy of everyone being equal, its a wonderful idea, the problem is if i do more work i tend to believe i deserve a little more than the person that didn't do as much. and the problem that it requires absolute power for the govenment. i don't trust the govenment. hell, that is the most intelligent thing anyone can do is not trust the govenment, it's what america was founded on. Why should you trust the govenment with control over absolutely everything? If ou can answer these problems i will allow this thread to continue without me, until then i will make sure you dumbasses see intelligent statements every-other post.

You are making a rather absurd assertion that communism is about equality. It is not. So don't accuse me of dumbass statements when you don't even know what you're talking about.
Communism is about eliminating the state--not making people subservient to it.

communism is about equal distribution of asset i thought, or at least that is the basic ideas. how does communism eliminate state, when has communism eliminated state?? Was the Solviet union not an actual communist system because it still had a state. And how do you equally distribut assets without a state to manage distribution. The term for the elimination of state is called anarchy.
