For example, the current Palestinian government has not even officially recognised Israel, and has not renounced violence. These were founding principles of Arafats deal at Oslo. Furthermore, the reality is that the Palestinians often do not have absolute control over all armed groups in the west bank and gaza; it only takes a couple of zealots with explosives to ruin your ceasefire, and an impatient Israeli prime minister to use it as an excuse to pull out of talks (hell, given how these groups operate, it may be hard for him to tell if was or wasn't offically sanctioned). All UN decrees on territory are essentially irrelevent, as they were based on conditions which no longer exist; namely Egyptian/Jordanian possession of Gaze/West Bank.
For a long time before the unilateral withdrawal from Gaza I'd here people talk nonsense about how Israel should withdraw first, and negotiations should follow. I would try to explain why this wouldn't work, and people would cling to their idiotic views anyway.
The reality is that in Palestine there is a political vacuum. The Israeli army fills that vacuum to a degree, but if it is removed it is only natural that gunmen will fill it rather than politicians, because on the ground they are the people running the show. This is exactly what has happened in Gaza, and the Israelis were fucking idiots to think it could ever work.
A negotiated settlement has to be reached BEFORE withdrawal, because otherwise it is the militias who will the void. An empty statement like "follow conditions set down in treaties" is a classic example of 'armchair-politik'- it sounds lovely, but it's practical application to the situation is non-existent. It is easier for the Israelis to withdraw than it is for the Palestinians to call a cease-fire, and if people actually want to see this issue solved they need to accept it and stop spouting bullshit solutions with no substance.

First, it's impossible to give every nationality a country since there are thousands of different nationalities and earth is not big enough.
In order to have your own country your people need to have common history. The Palestinians doesn't have solid and clear history, they are basically random arabs who came from all countries in the ME and at some point became a people(?).Jewish people on the other hand have a history which stretches back thousands of years and they are related to the land of Israel.
