Every generation gets smarter. It's called The Flynn Effect. The whole "this generation is the dumbest ever" is a myth spread by ignorant old people who don't like the newness of youth culture.

In fact, this generation is the most literate generation of all time. Kids today write an average of 40 pages of text per month because of the internet. That's a far higher average than any other generation in history. Kids today know more about the world than the average citizen did at any other point history. They don't know enough imo, but they know more than the last generation did.

Smarter?  The Flynn effect is an observed increase of about two points in average I.Q. scores per generation.  This does not mean that each new generation is the "smartest" ever.  In fact everything in your post illustrates the intellectual problems particular to the "new generations of the information society".  You lack context.  Writing 40 pages of "ROFLMAO froob, GTFO" does not make "kids today" more literate, and having been exposed to more information does not necessarily mean they know more, or even have any context for appreciating the information they've been exposed to.
The standard deviation on most IQ tests is 15 points.  There's a little context for your 2 point bump, and the extra 40 pages of crap that you credit yourself with may be less intellectually stimulating than ordinary speech, and actually counterproductive to the development of sophisticated writing skills. The information you "cite" was compiled by "old people" who are also painfully aware of the fact that recent generations have been exposed to media ecologies that have had an adverse affect on attention span, and the ability to process more complex information.  Get over yourself and go do your homework.

The only thing that you're ever "going for" is attention, and a way to block out the raging homosexual ideations you vainly resist.  How about you stop playing this pathetic character and try to actually contribute something that's intelligible and relevant.  Fucking fag.

You're flapping your mouth off about fucking fags, then you call me an homosexual! I am not going for attention here if that's what you think you are wrong! You are a moron who spends his time online troll people on world4ch!

Life is a lot more complex than ever before, navigating society and information is getting harder and so people get smarter to adapt.
You measure intelligence by IQ tests and attention span but these measures are outdated and arbitrary in today's world. Processing complex information is instinctive to the youth of today, they just choose to place emphasis on different things than their dullard parents who hide in tradition and mindless ritual and gesture.
And I'm only eleven.

Life is a lot more complex than ever before, navigating society and information is getting harder...

Oh really?  Would you care to support that assertion? You can't.  because it's just another myth.  Like your idealized perception of a new and special youth culture, it doesn't hold up to scrutiny, and is just another misunderstanding founded in a lack of context.  Sure we have better tools, but the idea that it will take any less study and work to employ them effectively can only be the product of an immature mind.  Everything that passes for a representation of contemporary youth culture is a pale shadow of the product of past generations.  The glaring example is music.  The theoretical complexity of the music consumed by the youth demographic has been on a steady decline since the late 1970's.  What exactly are you "placing emphasis on"?  It's clearly not respect (dullard parents who hide in tradition and mindless ritual and gesture).  Do you think "trolling" is a new product of your generation?  Swift wrote "A Modest Proposal" in 1729. You can only know as much about "today's world" as you know about yesterday's, so again, get over yourself and go do your homework.

IQ  tests are biased to north american anglo saxon males.

There is certainly a cultural bias, but to confine it to "north american anglo saxon males" [sic] is incorrect.  The term IQ was coined by a German, and the first test was made by a Frenchman.  You might have gotten away with men of Western European descent, but even that is misleading.  It's all about context people.  Now STFU and go do your homework, ya little smartasses.

Sigh. It is pretty obvious that life is more complex than ever before, granny. Your example of music is ridiculous, your definition of culture: pathetic. Youth today draw on a vast reservoir of personalities and and outlooks without subscribing to any. Think about how complex your world would be if you too had to see Swift's Modest Proposal on the same level as Telly Tubbies). If all culture was available to you but you had no obvious measure for what you should pay attention to. Your world is simple because you cling to traditions that predefine your beliefs and personality. Youth today don't have that, they are open to this flood of information. You are a dullard.

Pretty obvious eh?  Since you've decided to throw a temper tantrum, and spew nothing but insults, and inaccuracies masquerading as ideology and shithouse sociology, I'm left with only the traditional response.  Grow up, punk.  Fast.  And thank whatever it is you believe in, but then you don't believe in anything, that you can't be thrust into one of these erstwhile, simpler, societies.  Cause you wouldn't survive for long.  Like now, you would be able to scrape by for a while sucking cock, but you'd never see 20.

That started in the '70's.  Sure men started to grow longer hair in the '60's, but they still looked like men; beards and scraggly hair.  It was in the '70's that they started to blow dry it, and in the '80's they moved into make-up.  Now it's just sad.
