i barely work in school and i am not passing many classes even though i can do the work plus some. so what i want to know is...
can high school or any tests in high school measure the intelligence of a student?

They measure the effectiveness of a student which is a combination of their determination and intelligence. Lower determination = lower effectiveness.

i took the official school instructed IQ test and i came up in the 130's when i was tired and grumpy
and you mood and time of day and a lot of conditions affect the outcome.
so i am smart enough but i just dont feel like doing shit.

school is stupid and designed to crush the spirit so only stupid people who possess crushed spirits succeed in school. Fact of life I'm afraid.
IQ tests are not a very good measure of ones intelligence, and high school grades are even less. Grades measure how much bullshit you can put up with

lol grades measure how much you're willing to read and regurgitate over and over. I always got B's and A's in all of high school, because I learned to read and write super fast - starting work on shit an hour before it was due. The fact I was able to do that means I probably wasn't putting much thought into most of it.

Do they shit. They show how well brainwashed you are into the Burgeois' ideal little drone worker :P
Nah, srsly, they just show how much you can be assed with school IMO. I am quite intelligent I think, I'm very cultured with art & music, yet I dropped off and failed towards the end of my education. Why? I had better things to do. Couldn't be bothered.
This is all grades show: How well your personalty fit the school standard.

Well I put up with it because there were hot girls. Especially at the high school I went to: the junior high was right next to it, with some common areas.

im getting a's and b's atm
im working really hard and i dont have a social life
2nd last yr of hs
high school i think is more an indicator of how much effort a person is willing to put into their school work. The material is easy, but it takes at least some effort. It's almost the same in university, but if you're taking hard science/math courses, intelligence comes into play and your ability to grasp abstract concepts.

u should know that no1 tries to talk proper english in h.s

Hint: DON'T POST ON 4CHAN.
Talk to some real people. Look at yourself in the mirror. Is this you? Is this really you? This isn't what you want. What do you want? You know. It's human nature. You know how you should be. The only thing left to do is become it. Need someone to help you figure it out? You will not find him on the internet. Talk to a professional at school. Someone, anyone. It doesn't matter. Get better.
You should know that I don't give a shit about high school trends. There's no reason to rape the English language like that.

It's not even a trend. There have always been people typing like that. The only reason to do it is if there's space restrictions, it doesn't save time.
No, school is all bullshit, and the grades you get don't say anything about your intelligence. Albert Einstein flunked out of school.

Seriously high school grades aren't always reflected of what will happen after high school. I know personally that I slacked like hell and still had a 3.57 average. Then again what it does determine is your work habits.

Since high school was such a breeze for me I wasn't prepared for the good university I got into, dropped out, and am unemployed to this day.

High School: You hand in the work and pass the tests, you get the grade.
People who get low grades are people who are too lazy to hand in stuff.
People like me.
But hey, I got my diploma. That's what counts. Who gives a fuck about some honour roll that 40 percent of the graduating class makes?

bingo. i was lazy too. doesnt stop me having an iq of 144 though...
I had to take correspondence courses in order to graduate high school, because I failed an entire semester (it helped that I was kicked out that semester). I barely graduated with a 2.something gpa. I never went to college. I now own my own business and rake in enough income that I don't do shit all day except play on the internet (translation: 4chan and pr0n) and watch tv. I party almost every night (I spend about $400-600 a week on alcohol). Plus, I get to do the things I want to do.
High school grades are pointless. College is pointless. Out of the top 10 richest people (re: men [that includes Oprah]) in the US, only 2 of them graduated college (based on a 2005 statistic... may be different now).
Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. It's all you need to know to be rich and not work for someone else or worry about stupid ass grades.

School testing only tests a students memory, but I guess that's what knowledge is all about. Common sense cannot be taught in school though, that is something you have to develop on your own.
