High School Grades= Measure Intelligence

i barely work in school and i am not passing many classes even though i can do the work plus some. so what i want to know is...
can high school or any tests in high school measure the intelligence of a student? 

High School: You hand in the work and pass the tests, you get the grade.

People who get low grades are people who are too lazy to hand in stuff.
People like me.
But hey, I got my diploma. That's what counts. Who gives a fuck about some honour roll that 40 percent of the graduating class makes?
