Minecraft sucks

I got Minecraft (Alpha) yesterday. I played for a few hours. I made a castle, a dungeon, and a house. I realized that's pretty much what the entire game was. It's like Legos, but slower and you can kill stuff. If you're thinking about getting it, the free version is almost exactly the same. The weapons/enemies don't really add anything to the game. Don't waste 9.95 Euros on it.

Protip 5: Maybe that is all of the stuff that you can think of making , but you can make practically anything you want. You can copy designs from the real world, or you can make something completely original. If building isn't your thing, the perhaps you are into into survival, or redstone, or minecarts, or whatever. Maybe you should spend less time looking at other people's stuff and try building something of your own.
Protip 6: Lego has more variety than Minecraft? Lego has abou ten different colours in about 2 or 3 different sizes. Minecraft has normal building blocks, but it also has thing like fences, iron bars, glass, minecart tracks, water and lava which you can use to create much cooler stuff than Lego with. Also, most of the blocks don't obey gravity, so you can make floating stuff.
Protip 7: Sure some of them might play, but is that the only game they play?
Protip 8: So your implying that no one who has ever played Minecraft has ever had sex? Well that's a big ol' lie.

Protip 1: Notch has proven again and again that he has absolutely no idea of what "alpha", "beta" and "release" means. (Just look at the "beta prereleases" that's actually just alpha versions that you have to pay more for.) Notch will probably "release" Minecraft around the set date, but it will continue (just as before) to require updates and bugfixes. Just as with the beta release, nothing will have actually changed.

Of course they're going to suggest animal breeding to Notch enough times for him to cave in to their demands - all the reasonable people have been banned. Probably the best point made against the "if you don't like it your not creative enough" argument. Obviously they are not creative either. And are they really being creative at all? "Beta pre-release" 5 is out. Its bug list is the size of my cock: Humonguous. It's so big that I won't bother reading it, but I caught a glimpse of spiders cluster-fucking eachother into a fucking "spider ball".
Usually programmers try to FIX bugs before adding new stuff, and make sure that similar bugs won't happen again, but Minecraft "beta" now crashes more frequently than the alpha version did, yet the kids are somehow expected to pay MORE for it. I'm glad I stopped updating before Minecraft started collapsing in on itself for real.
