I got Minecraft (Alpha) yesterday. I played for a few hours. I made a castle, a dungeon, and a house. I realized that's pretty much what the entire game was. It's like Legos, but slower and you can kill stuff. If you're thinking about getting it, the free version is almost exactly the same. The weapons/enemies don't really add anything to the game. Don't waste 9.95 Euros on it.

"Beta pre-release" 5 is out. Its bug list is the size of my cock: Humonguous. It's so big that I won't bother reading it, but I caught a glimpse of spiders cluster-fucking eachother into a fucking "spider ball".
Usually programmers try to FIX bugs before adding new stuff, and make sure that similar bugs won't happen again, but Minecraft "beta" now crashes more frequently than the alpha version did, yet the kids are somehow expected to pay MORE for it. I'm glad I stopped updating before Minecraft started collapsing in on itself for real.
