You've caught me in a good mood, so I'll give you many memory-saving tips. Do what I say and you'll save buckets of RAM.
1. Stop using Internet Explorer
2. Download Autoruns from SysInternals, disable unnecessary Explorer plugins (things you know what they are and don't use, don't touch what you don't know about), disable stupid shit that runs such as updaters for Java, Real Player, etc.
3. Go services.msc, set useless services to Manual, check Intarweb for lists of useless services, set Spooler to Manual if you never print anything
4. What are the following processes?: cidaemon.exe cisvc.exe wscntfy.exe CAMTHINS.exe?
5. Set Windows Update notifications to manual install, never install microsoft malware removal tool because it's itself malware
6. Go sysdm.cpl, advanced, performance options, don't use themes, don't use Windows XP themes, and set the theming service to manual
7. Use a BMP as background, not a JPG or PNG
