360 and new TV, or new computer tower

hey guys I have saved up $1600USD and have two options get a new TV and a Xbox 360 for about $400 for the Xbox360 and $800 for the TV, or build a new computer tower for $1200 to $1300.

I really love to build computers, but theres some really cool games for the
360, but my computer is 3 years old and upgrading it is useless, but I really do need a new TV my curent one doesnt have AV ports on it. but theres also some awsome computer games that are coming out and the games
I have on my computer right now dont run well. so /comp/ please give suggestions

I am >>31, I just want to mention that I use a converter to connect my ps2 to a PC monitor and have looked into doing that on a 360 already, and the refresh rate for the monitor will stick itself at 60 hertz with no V-sync and there's not much you can do about it.

A good HDTV is probably better than a monitor for a 360
