360 and new TV, or new computer tower

hey guys I have saved up $1600USD and have two options get a new TV and a Xbox 360 for about $400 for the Xbox360 and $800 for the TV, or build a new computer tower for $1200 to $1300.

I really love to build computers, but theres some really cool games for the
360, but my computer is 3 years old and upgrading it is useless, but I really do need a new TV my curent one doesnt have AV ports on it. but theres also some awsome computer games that are coming out and the games
I have on my computer right now dont run well. so /comp/ please give suggestions

Never said HDTV was superior...In fact I gave the 360 a less than on that one. read my whole post.

But the graphics chip in the 360 does sweaty t-bag dance all over your Nvidia and the IBM processor blows your P4 out of the water for games. Plus, did you read what >>31 said?

Anyhow, dedicated systems are just better for playing games on. Open systems, like your PC, are good for everything else. At least be proud of that.
