Hey guys, I'm in my final year at film school and I'm trying to get support for my final film: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1577072610/the-treasure-of-garbanzo-pass Anyone have any tips for working with Kickstarter or suggestions on the project in general? Any advice is much appreciated, thanks!

THURSDAYS ON TBS!

I hope no one watches that King of the Nerds show so the whole stupid faux-nerd-craze can just die already. And hopefully the big bang theory can die with it.

KICKSTARTING NEVER AGAIN THAT CRAP IS FULL OF SCAMMERS

FUCK #Anita Sarkeesian the scammer
Anita Sarkeesian, Female Stereotypes in Videogames, and You
Feminist blogger Anita Sarkeesian received both wildly inflammatory criticism and massive support as a result of her campaign against common female stereotypes in video games. Here's a fair and balanced look at her agenda.

Wow, ok, just looked up Anita Sarkeesian. So this girl took $158,922 for something as simple, cheap, and mundane as a set of youtube videos and then didn't even deliver? That's ridiculous. For this film though I have no option—if I don't make it, I fail the semester and have to repeat senior year. Is it the general consensus online that Kickstarter is full of scams? Is there a better way to raise funds? I've been emailing local groups and the like but always linking them to the fundraiser.

Four years and that's the best you could come up with? No offense intended, but from what I have seen on your kickstarter page there is clearly a lot that you need to learn. I'm honestly surprised this has gotten that much funding. Also, I think it's extremely selfish to resort to ad misericordium in an attempt to get this project funded.

I think you mean ad misericordiam? Also it sounds like he's just asking for advice, not our donations.

OP, I'd say try Indiegogo. You can keep your money if you don't reach your goal there

Don't change these.
