Kickstarting films

Hey guys, I'm in my final year at film school and I'm trying to get support for my final film: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1577072610/the-treasure-of-garbanzo-pass Anyone have any tips for working with Kickstarter or suggestions on the project in general? Four years and that's the best you could come up with? No offense intended, but from what I have seen on your kickstarter page there is clearly a lot that you need to learn. I'm honestly surprised this has gotten that much funding. Also, I think it's extremely selfish to resort to ad misericordium in an attempt to get this project funded.
