Wonderful movie. I can watch it over and over and just love it more with each viewing. It is truly wonderful.

The necessity to watch it more than once to fully understand everything is what gets me. The thought that two people can be viewing it at once with such different perceptions is absolutely awesome.

We don't need to state the obvious here. Movie's rarely follow books the way we'd like them to.
Examples: Just about any Stephen King movie. If they tried to make a movie based on his book "Cell" I'd have to beat the shit out of something small and defenseless, like the directors children or grandchildren, depending on his or her age. They hack up his books big time.
Fight Club, however, was a great movie.

You idiot. Haven't you seen Fight Club? If not, why are you posting in this thread.
I can't believe that people are still talking about this movie. You must all be young or not into very good cinema. Or you all missed fight club when it was initially released.
I was obsessed with Fight Club in middle school, when I was like 12 years old. I'm very over it now and you should be too, unless you're in middle school.

I saw Fight Club several years ago around the same time I saw Bergman's Persona. I found them similar in some way but I found the latter vastly superior. Granted, I liked Fight Club at the time because my parents prevented me from seeing it at the time, so I derived a sort of pleasure from secretly seeing it. Incidentally, my parents were really arbitrary about the films they did or didn't allow me to see. For instance, they wouldn't let my watch The Last Temptation of Christ (or anything Scorsese for some reason), but my father gladly showed my The Godfather movies. In any case, I still watched all the movies that they wouldn't let me see by getting them from the library.
Pre 9-11 terrorist training videos like: The matrix, boys2men and Fight Club are bad and you should feel bad for having fun from watching them.

It needs more straight pornographic sequences like Clockwork Orange had. At least they understood why nude gay fighters [who control the church] are bad news.

I'm so over middle school, and you totally should be too.

Most people who are brainwashed from this film drink a lot of Starbucks brand coffee and they don't understand why. What they don't know is that their coffee logo is in every scene that doesn't have a penis in it.
